Jeremy POV

I take Faye to my house. This is the first mansion I bought. Now I have several in other states. And few apartments abroad. It was rented before, because I think it's more practical for me to stay at my penthouse at the city center. Closer to my office. But at the hospital I already told my PA to make few arrangements with the previous tenant. Offer them a deal that they cannot refuse so they'll vacate immediately.

*throwback*

Do you know that Faye is the one who choose this mansion? Well actually, I ask her for advice when it comes to property. So that time, I told her that I want to have a property investment and she agrees to accompany me looking at a few prospects.

"Thanks for today Faye!" Throwing a smile at her.

"It's a pleasure. I always love going to open house. It's one of my guilty pleasure. So really, it's me who should thanking you! But hey the dinner is still on you right?" She says cheekily.

I told her before, if she agrees to help me viewing those property, I will treat her for a fancy dinner. I can't help to wonder of how she manages to always make me laugh with her silly comments.

The first house we view is a modern house complete with infinity pool, indoor gym and state of the art kitchen. All of the interior is minimalistic. It stands at the edge of a hill overlooking the city. We take a look around the house.

"What do you think?" I ask.

"Well that depends, what do you want to do with it actually?" she ask back.

"I want a house I can live in the future, when I decide to start a family. But for now, I want to rent it out. Because it's not practical if I live here all by myself for now." I tell her.

"Woow, lucky girl! Are you gonna seduce her by showing this is her future house, before you pop the question?" She looks at me with slightly disagreement in her eye.

"I don't know. What do you think? Will it work?" I tease her. It's like she can read my mind. I want her to choose her future home to be honest. Well unfortunately, she doesn't know it yet.

"Don't do that okay! You'll never learn if she's in it for you or because of 'this'." She gestures her hand showing the house.

"Wow, hold up! As if I need to put more on the positive column, look at me, am I not a good catch enough even without 'this'?" I mimic her hand gesture.

"You're right! You're perfect Greg, just the way you are." Her smile is so sincere, I wonder if she telling me the truth. My hearts flutter.

"Okay, I think I'm done with this house. How 'bout you, ready to go to the next one?" I try to change the subject before she's realizing that a blush creep up on my cheek.

"Yup, let's go! Thank you so much miss for showing us this house!" She bit farewell to the broker.

...

"Oh gosh, the broker sure has some hots for you. Good thing I'm not you girlfriend, or better yet, your fiancé. Or I will want to claw her eyes off." She rolled her eyes.

"Why?" I didn't even notice the broker. All of my attention is at Faye and what she thinks about the mansion.

"Well for starter, she's eyeing you like she's ready to jump on you! Whenever I ask question, she just answer shortly. But when you ask, it's like: 'o this a state of the art kitchen Mr. Donovan, or can I call you Greg?'" Faye's mimicking the broker with overtly sweet voice and batting her lashes excessively, while touching my hand seductively.
