I lay down on my bed after a long day, suddenly I get a call from an unknown number, I take my phone to pick the call,

"Hello"

"Hello, Jin, this is Namjoon, tomorrow is the final meeting on finalizing our collaboration with the JP Group, can you join us we could use your help."

"Oh! Namjoon! Y...yeah yeah sure I'll be there"

"Ok bye Jinnie," he said kissing over the phone, and hung up before I could react. 

Kim Namjoon you are the death of me. He's slowly making me get used to these nicknames and butterfly kisses.

I get up and start preparing for tomorrow. The thought of me going to JP Group again is setting off a weird feeling in me.

"Why do you look so tensed Jin Hyung ?" Jimin entered my room sitting beside me.

"I have to go to JP Group tomorrow Chim and assist in a presentation"

"Isn't JP Group your previous company ?"

"Yes, I hate stepping into that place again, but cannot avoid it, this is my job"

"Why did you resign there Hyung? JP Group is a very renowned company even bigger than the one you are working for now, why did you leave the job there"

"There will be few situations where you need to value your self-respect over everything Chim. I didn't get it there so I moved"

He just nodded and sat there silently, I am glad that he didn't push me further asking me questions, I am not ready to discuss that with anyone, at least not now.

I listened to him and just nodded. It is rare to see Jin Hyung this serious about anything. Don't take me wrong, he is pretty serious when it comes to working, but this is different. I could sense that he is hurt.

I walk out of the room silently, Hyung mentioned that he's going to JP Group tomorrow, something didn't feel right. I take my phone and call Yoongi,

"Hi Hyung"

"Hi Kitten, missing me ?"

"Hyuu..ng !!! are you going to the client collab meeting tomorrow ?"

"haha! Yes, Kitten, Jin is tagging with us too"

"I just spoke to Jin Hyung about this and he seems a little bit off" and I explain our conversation to him, "I didn't push him for any details but make sure he's comfortable there Hyung"

"hmm, sure will do, anything for my baby kitten"

"Thanks, Hyung, maybe we can meet up after your meeting? I am free from tomorrow afternoon"

"Ugh! Finally! I'll pick you up after the meeting from your office"

"Where are you taking me Hyung?"

"It's a surprise kitten, you are going to scream my name so hard after that"

"Hyuung !! I hate you, don't tease me, BYE!"

"Hah! Bye Kitten"

I hope everything goes well tomorrow.

I didn't sleep properly last night, tossing and turning about the meeting. It's 7 and I got a text from Namjoon that he is going to pick me up on the way. I quickly got up and started to get ready.

I go down to see Namjoon and Yoongi waiting for me, I get into the car sitting beside Namjoon and Yoongi in front of us. No one spoke anything we all were busy checking the presentations and last-minute changes.

My heart started beating fast as we approach the building, my palms are becoming sweaty, suddenly Namjoon takes my hand into his and squeezes it assuringly.

"We are going to nail that meeting, thanks to your efforts Jin, we will be able to pull this off, let's be confident and walk with with our heads high up"

Those words made me calm down, those were the words I wanted to hear in these moments, someone trusting my work and talent.

We got down, entered the building walking towards the conference room, as we enter the room I see few people already seated there. Namjoon walks upfront and gains everyone's attention starting the meeting.

The meeting is going on smoothly till now, I glance around the room observing the people, they seem convinced with the approach.

"I have few questions on the report.." I heard a voice coming from one of the people present there.

"Sure, Mr.Kim Seokjin here will clear up all your queries," saying that Namjoon waved at me to stand up and take over.

I stand infront of them and explain their queries, they seem satisfied with the answers. I felt proud standing there infront of those people who seem pleased. I look at Namjoon smiling at me and I started walking towards him, so that he can take over and finish the presentation.

Suddenly the doors of the conference room opens, I see him walking towards Namjoon his entire gaze just fixed on me,

"Did you do really do this or is someone giving you the credit as exchange of .. you know" he stands infornt of me with a smirk.

"Excuse me! who are you ?" Namjoon steps beside me.

"Oh! Fiesty! Good one you grabbed there Jin"

"Who the hell do you think you ar...."

"Mark Tuan, CEO of JP Group" he says cutting off Namjoon's words, "Is this the new guy you are sleeping with to get your way up in the company Jin ?" he lifts my chin up, I am standing there in front of everyone utterly humiliated. I don't want to waste another drop of tear on this asshat. before I could push his hands off my face, Namjoon punchs him on his face making him fall down.

Mark gets up and starts shouting madly, "This collaboration won't happen at all, I'll see how you guys pull off this project without our support", he looks at me and Namjoon again and march out of the room.
