"...we are together"
The place felt silent for few seconds,
"You both look cute together" someone shouts out. Everyone joins and started congratulating us.
"You bagged a talented one Boss, I am happy you are together"
"Power Couple !!!"
I couldn't believe my ears. All my fears and insecurities shattered into pieces. I gripped Namjoon's hand tightly looking into his eyes with gratitude.
We both thanked everyone, Namjoon asked the team to call it a day. We both exit the office building reaching the house. None of us spoke anything. It was a comfortable silence.
Namjoon opens the door and we both sit on the couch. It was a day off after a very tiring week. I slowly move towards Namjoon sitting in his lap wrapping my hands on his shoulders looking at him,
"Thank you Joonie, what did I do to deserve you," I say as happy tears form in the corner of my eyes.
Namjoon leans forward cupping my cheeks and kissing both my eyes, "You deserve the whole world Jinnie"
He is by far the best thing that happened to me. During this short period of knowing each other, he gave me love, confidence, and support.
I peck his lips. he slowly kissed me back.
"Let's go to sleep baby," he says carrying me to the bed, cuddling me to sleep.
----- Third Person POV -----
It has been two years now, Namjoon and Jin are living together as Yoongi moved in with Jimin. Their company started growing step by step. Namjoon and Yoongi climbed up higher in their positions as Jin took Namjoon's place.
"Jinnie, baby, you cooked enough. They are not special guests, they are here almost every weekend" Namjoon says walking towards Jin who is showing his MasterChef skills.
"Jiminie, we should stop hanging out with them now," Yoongi says to Jimin as they walk into the kitchen.
"Jin Hyung is my favourite I cannot leave him" Jimin pouts as both the previous roomies hug each other, "Joonie Hyung loves me too" Jimin winks at Namjoon.
"Yah !!! Jimin-ah, I don't like people calling me Joonie"
"but Jinnie Hyung calls you that all the time"
"Only he can do that" Namjoon pulls back Jimin and hugs Jin, placing a soft kiss on his cheeks.
Jimin runs into Yoongi's arms, "That's it no one talks to my Jiminie like that," he says gripping the younger, Jimin turns to Namjoon sticking his tongue out. Jin chuckles as he sees the boys bickering.
They all sit down at the table, eating the delicious food Jin cooked,
"Jin Hyung, I forgot to tell you, Hobi Hyung is coming back to Seoul next week. We can plan a get-together."
"Sure, let's invite Tae and Kookie too"
Hobi flew to the states as they are expanding their business last year. He met a beautiful girl there, Ami, whom he introduced to us. They both are just perfect.
Taehyung and Jungguk both took a break and pursued their longing passion for art and singing. Taehyung became one of the rising artists in Korea, his paintings became more popular and his art galleries gained a lot of traction.
On the other hand, Jungguk excelled in a lot of things, Namjoon offered him a full-time position whenever he decided to come back, but the boy's calling was something different. He auditioned for a reputed music company that gladly accepted him. He is a star with a golden voice.
Over the years we all have come together into a strong group. Our meetings became frequent and we all felt comfortable with each other. Who would have expected that seven boys with different backgrounds will come together to be best friends for life.
Hobi flew in the next week and we all gathered at our place again. He promised he would bring his girlfriend next time for now she is still in the states. Tae and Kookie show up hand in hand, for them the honeymoon period is never-ending, meanwhile, Jimin and Yoongi always bicker like an old married couple.
They all sat there talking to each other, seeing this Jin couldn't help but feel content. Everything seems so good, is there anything that could make this moment perfect he thought.
As if answering his question, Namjoon turns towards Jin, kneeling in front of him,
"Jinnie, I couldn't think of any perfect moment than when we are with our friends to tell you this. When I look into your eyes and you look back into mine everything feels not quite normal, because I feel stronger and weaker at the same time, I feel excited and at the same time terrified, the truth is I don't know what I feel, all I know if what kind of man I want to be." he pulls out a ring in his hands,
"Kim Seokjin, will you marry me?"
Tears form around Jin's eyes as he listened to every word that came out of the other. His heart was dancing with joy. He would spend an eternity with Namjoon, the boy who made his life pure bliss.
"YES... yes Joonie thousand times yes," Jin says hugging Namjoon tightly.
Everyone cheered for the happy couple. They never wanted the moment to end. No matter how many ups and downs, the distances, nothing mattered, they vowed to each other that day, they'll be together and truthful to each other.
