headcanons

when you are cooking dinner

akaashi would look over your shoulder to see what you're making and give you a kiss on the cheek.

"smells good." he will mumble as he watches you stir the dish into a tasteful result.
with a smile you feel warm in his presence.

when you come home from work (after a double shift)

akaashi will engulf you in a giant hug and cuddle you while you slowly fall asleep in his arms.

akaashi doesn't often give hugs since he doesn't feel as if they are good enough for you but his hugs are actually soft and warm.

usually he will play with your hair or holds your hand until you fall asleep.

if you guys have an argument

akaashi will always be the first to apologise even if it is your fault.

he never wants thin ice and he loves you no matter what to the point that he will blame himself even if you were wrong.

when watching a movie (in the cinemas)

if you are the type of person to talk and comment about every single detail;
this part is for you...

at first when you started dating he found it slightly annoying since he wouldn't be able to listen to the movie but now he sees it as him being able to hear your voice more often.

most of the time it seems like he isn't listening so he inputs in your commentary and voices his opinions lightly hoping not to get into a silly argument about who the character should've ended up with.

if people start staring at you both he will get embarrassed and probably suggest you to type everything so you can tell him after the movie.

if you are the type of person to listen to the movie completely and dig further into the characters and their development;
this ones for you..

you both watch the movie without talking but once the movie had ended and you both go somewhere to eat, you will share all the things you were thinking about to do with that character and he will tell you his opinions.

if you are the type of person that gets bored at the movies;
this one is for you..

since you get bored, akaashi doesn't take you to the cinemas too often but when he does you both buy many snacks and end up doing some stuff on your phones.

if he is really enjoying the movie, you will try to watch it and understand it for him. but if you fall asleep, he will let you lay on his shoulder.

if it a movie you really like then he will try his best to understand the movie. i don't think that akaashi is the type to fall asleep during a movie, although i do think that if the movie is really boring he will be out like a fly by half way through. if he falls asleep during the movie you like, you might fill him in so you can at least show him memes and videos about the movie.
