eight(part four)

Senku's p.o.v

I was really restless. How would Gen react if he walked in and saw me? Would he be mad? Exited? I kept fidgeting staring at the apartment door.

'Aaah. I somehow don't want him to come.'

I took out my phone and looked at the time. It was 12am. "Does he stay out this late?" Just as I put back my phone, I heard footsteps. I instantly knew who it was. I hear the sound of the key unlock the door.

'He's here.'

I watch the door unlock and see Gen. He's really here. He takes of his coat and hangs it. He then looks towards me. Our eyes meet and I can clearly see his expression change. "S-senku?" He says his voice almost shaking. I try to reply when I notice his expression. He looks alittle pale. Just as I get up, Gen collapses on the ground. I quickly ran towards him. His face is burning up and he's really sweating.

I call for a doctor and he arrives almost immediately. "Its nothing serious. Has he been working himself too hard?" The doctor asks me after examining Gen. "Probably yeah." "He should be fine after some rest. But if anything happens please let me know." The doctor says then leaves. I call Gen's manager and inform him about Gen's condition.

Gen's p.o.v

I feel warm and sense a faint scent of something cooking.

'Am I dreaming? Its soo warm.'

I feel the smell getting closer and I know someone's coming. Is it my manager? No I don't think so. I slowly get up and notice I'm on my bed. I watch the door unlock and see Senku walk in with a bowl on a tray. "Ah Gen you're awake." He says and places the tray on the table nect next to my bed.

'Porridge?'

"Senku... How long have I been asleep?" I reply and take the bowl. "About twelve hours." He says heading to the door. "You collapsed just as soon as you got in. I called in a doctor and he said it was just exhaustion."

He opens the door. "Please don't push yourself." Just before he walks out I call out his name. "Senku." He turns and faces me. "Please don't leave." He walks towards me and sits beside me. "Okay." I look at him and tears start flowing staining my face. Senku looks shocked.

"I'm sorry. Senku I'm sorry." I cry. I try to wipe my tears. "I- i was just so bothered. I was acting like a child. You only ever think about yourself. Dragging me along your pace. And, and you never think about my feelings. Doing things as you please." The tears won't stop flowing.

Senku pulls me closer to him and hugs me tightly. I sniffle and hug him back. "Hey shouldn't I be the one saying sorry?" Silence. "I'm sorry I didn't pay attention to you and your feelings. I'm selfish and I hurt you. But you know what? These past two weeks I missed you so much I felt like there was something missing in my life." He says then rubs my back as if to comfort me."really?" I ask "really."

"It's okay. I forgive you." I reply. Senku chuckles and replies. "I'm glad." After a few minutes of silence still in each other embrace, senku finally pulls me so I'm facing him. He looks at me smiling. "Gen, I love you. I love you so much." I'm in shock. I can feel my cheeks turn beet red. I cover my face trying to hide the blush. I can hear Senku laugh. "Gen you look so cute right now." He says trying to pull my hands from my face. "As I thought, I do hate you after all." He finally remove my hands and stares right through me.
"Then I'll love you enough for the both of us." He says moving his face closer to mine. Our lips are now only inches apart. I can feel his light breath brushing against my skin.

"Se-senku..." He pecks my forehead and chuckles. I somehow feel dissapointed. I look at Senku.

'He's holding back... Heh.'

"Seeenku chaaan~ I'm hungry." I say and get up. "There's porridge on the table." Senku replies pointing at the bowl on my bedroom table. I pull him up and drag him out of my room. "Yeah, yeah but lets go to a diner or something." "But the porridge..." "I'll drink it later c'mon lets go. I'm hungry."

I grab a jacket and put on my shoes. Senku follows behind me and we leave my home.

Senku's p.o.v

'What just happened?'

We are finally at a family restaurant and Gen has completely changed. 'What is he scheming?' That thought keeps popping up in my head. We have a small chat while we wait for our orders. Gen's completely different. Its almost as if he was never down.

We are back from the restaurant. Gen looks happy so I don't really mind what he's scheming. Gen walks in after me and shuts his door. He pulls me towards him and kisses me immediately. "Gen?!" He takes off his jacket. "You were holding back then. Weren't you Senku chan?" "You noticed?" "Ofcourse I did. I'm a mentalist after all~" I grab him by the waist and pull him closer to me I press my lips on his. I slip my toungue in the moment he breaks for a breath.

I push him against the door and slowly strip him. His legs give out and I carry him to his room.
