SIERRA
"How May I help you mam" a young woman asked me as I reached the reception of Shawn's office.

I glanced at my watch which read 11:53

"I am here to see Mr bolivar" I said as I looked at her carefully . She is new that's for a fact. I usually don't really have to be asked "how may I help you mam" because I come here quite often.

"You name please" she asked .

"Miss Sierra Mandela" I replied as she typed into her computer.

And the fact it took her about 3 minutes to be able to check the meeting list for my Name.

She looked up at me nervously as if trying to plead with me to be patient with her eyes. I looked at her quite amused. "Don't worry take your time".

She reminded me of when I first started looking for a job and snagged my self one as a receptionist just like her. At first I would come out all tuff and confident but when the main job had started I'll feel like I was going to collapse. And I hated the rude businessmen and women . I almost rolled my eyes as I recall the memories of me being shouted at for something as irrelevant as this.

"Sorry mam I don't seem to find your name as on the schedule. And Mr bolivar seems to still be in a meeting"she said nicely.

Of course he would forget to inform his new receptionist. Shawn.

"Actually I am not usually on the schedule. Just ring up Julia and tell her I am here" I said as I felt the pain of my heels start to kick in from standing.

She looked at me hesitantly as she grabbed the phone and dialed a number I assumed was to Julia's office. Julia was Shawn's personal assistant and somewhat my friend.

I decided to sit down on the chairs in the lounge while I waited for her.

She was talking on the phone but I couldn't hear what she was saying. Then suddenly she looked up at me eyes widened as she held the phone tighter to her ear. Nodding as if the person on the other end of the phone could see her. She dropped the phone and came up to me.

"I am so sorry Miss Mandela, it's my second day on the job and I haven't quite gott-"

"Oh don't worry I could tell, it doesn't really matter" I said reassuring. She looked spooked for a minute and it made me wonder how rude people have been to her lately.

"So can I go up now" I asked. Snapping out of her shock she looked at me.

"Oh yes sure! You already know the floor right" she asked uncertainly.i nodded and walked pass her after giving her another reassuring smile.

I walked straight to the elevator and pleased to the 45th floor.the last office floor. The remaining 5 floors were just documents and what not. As the elevator door opened. I was met with a tight hug.

"Sierra! It's been a while" Julia said as she retrieved from hugging me. Julia was a super nice and coordinated young lady very friendly too.

"Yeah I've been busy with school and work and all I barely even have time for Shawn and my friends anymore" I explained as I walked with her  to Shawn's office passing a huge door with meeting room written on it. Julia seemed to have noticed my gaze.

"Yeah he has a serious meeting with one of his most competitive investors" she said as we finally arrived in front of his door and stepped in.

I glanced at my wrist watch and saw that it was already eleven minutes past eleven.
I sat on one of the sits opposite of Shawn's seat.
