One week later

Again.

Again.

Again.

It was happening again.

So she did it again.
Again.

Again and

again.

Holding her head in her hands underneath the cold shower with clothes on, she sobbed quietly not wanting her mom to find her and use this as another reason to scold her.

She tugged her hair, felt the cold water hit her back on a January night, bled her tears as they blended into the water, like a disguise. Oh how she despised them.

For they had the ability to flow, to escape, to be free, to hide. How she wanted to be like that.

To be free,

to feel loved,

to escape the toxicity of her own mentality. She found herself praying for a change, for a better life but then stopped herself.

You don't deserve it

So don't wish for it

Stay in your limits

Cupping a hand over her face as her hair stuck to her forehead from the constant water flow and hair tugging.

Please…

Just…

She felt two arms around her, holding her up. They led her to the closet and wrapped a towel around her shaking form.

They rubbed her back and arms as she led out shaky breaths. They put out new clothes for her and waited for her to change.

Yura stepped out into her room once again in 2 sweaters and turned the heater on full. Sitting on the bed she called out

'thank you...

You didnt have to....'

“But i wanted to…” the voice came from behind her as she felt two arms around her again and a weight on her shoulder, with breath fanning her neck.

“Why?” she spoke almost choking on tears.

“Cuz i love you.”

“That's only what i want you to say.”

“True. but it's also what you want to say to yourself. I am a part of you… remember?”

With that last sentence she broke apart, falling to the ground and curling herself up into a ball, wanting to disappear then and there.

“Why did you come back…?”

He was now on the floor in front of her, his hair now blue and his shirt replaced by a sweatshirt.

“Because you needed me..” he spoke softly. A hand starting to caress her hair.
She felt her eyes droop and soon fell asleep on the floor.
