avani's pov

we're going to disneyland today! i'm so excited to bring the kids to disneyland. we are meeting up with a few other families there as well. dixie and noah are meeting us there. so are charli and chase. (a/n they are together in the story!) then madi (monroe) and jack are as well.

almost all of us have kids now so its perfect. dixie and noah have a daughter around aleigha's age and a son adrian's age. then charli and chase have 1 daughter that is close to atlas' age. finally, madi and jack don't have any but madi and aleigha have been best friends since the day she was born.

we are driving there now. atlas is thankfully napping, aleigha and adri are watching a movie. anthony has his hand on my thigh and is rubbing his thumb against my bare leg. i watch out the windshield and just try to take this all in. 

once we finally arrive at disneyland and find a parking spot. the exact second we stop atlas wakes up and starts to cry.

"atlas." i say to try and calm her. anthony turns off the car while we all get out. i go around to the backside door and unbuckle atlas from her seat. "all done my love." i try to calm her down. thankfully she stops.

"lee guess who we get to see today!" i talk to aleigha. "who?" she asks impatiently.  we didn't tell the kids who all are joining us. i see madi walking up behind her. she turns around and jumps into madi's arm. her excitement radiates.

"auntie madi!" she shouts. madi hugs her tightly. "you are so big." madi chats with aleigha. anthony and jack chat as we get ready to head into disney. anthony pushes the stroller with atlas in it. it's a really simple black one. atlas loves to walk but not too far of distances and she's been kind of grumpy today.

we get to the disney entrance and we see the beck family; noah, dixie, maya, and kai. plus the hudson family; chase, charli, and mila.

all of the kids go crazy. adrian runs straight to kai, he is noah and dixie's son. he's only a few months older than adrian and they have always been good little buddies.

once we get closer all of us hug. i have missed everyone so much. it's been awhile since we have all hung out. after i finish hugging charli. i turn around and see mila and atlas in the stroller together. i take a picture of them. they are so cute.

maya and aleigha are cute as well. they always hold hands and walk together. they remind me of myself when i was younger with my childhood best friend, lydia. we still chat occasionally but we are still good friends.

after passing through security and all that we make it into disney. i agreed to stay with the kids as all of the others go on big rides because my back has been hurting me again lately and charli is staying with me as well.

we arrive at space mountain. aleigha is just tall enough. so is maya. they both go on with the adults. charli and i hang back with the other kids. we go sit at a table and get them treats.

"momma this is so good!" adrian jumps around while eating a piece of cotton candy. not my best choice but the kids haven't tried it before. i do try to not give them too much sugar but today can be their exception. i give atlas a little. she gives me a weird face then shows me her already blue tongue.

"charls can i give mila a piece?" i ask charli. "sure why not." she responds. "here ms. mila." i grab a small piece and put it directly into her mouth. mila looks skeptical at first then she claps. charli and i laugh.

i also give kai, dixie's son some as well. him and adrian share a bigger piece. cotton candy obviously is a yes but dix and noah may not be happy about it. anthony may not be too thrilled either. we'll have to like run with them to get all of their sugar highs gone. eh we're at disneyland.
