Avani & Anthony: Parents

*this is the last chapter about vacay, they are flying home*

avani's pov

i have loved his vacation but i miss teddy and the house. teddy stayed with my parents while we were gone. they love teddy so whenever they watch him he comes home happy.

we currently are on our way to the airport. it is 8 pm. atlas is falling asleep in her car seat. adrian is in his booster seat but he doing pretty fine. probably is a little tired. aleigha is wide awake. which is not great but she will end up tiring herself out. or i will make anthony tire her out.

our flight is about 8 hours so hopefully we can all sleep. plus costa rica is only 1 hour ahead of la time so no jet lag thankfully.

our car pulls up to the airport. we all hop out. i am carrying atlas in my arms and anthony and the other 2 kids are helping anthony. he grabs a cart for our suitcases and car seats. i watch as he loads everything onto our cart. everyone else's cars pull up slowly after ours. we all just took ubers to the airport.

once we all are situated, we walk into the airport. chase is carrying mila. kai and maya are still awake as well but it is obvious that they are tired as well. meanwhile, aleigha is like bouncing off the walls. anthony goes to check in while i sit over on a bench with the kids.

"aleigha come here." i call over my daughter. "yes mom?" she asks me anxiously. "calm down please. make sure to use your inside voice as well ok?" i parent her. she nods, then sits down next to me. she is like a literal spaz right now which is not normal for her. around bedtime she is usually more calm but she is probably nervous for the flight.

after everyone finishes in the check in line, and check our bags we head to security. thankfully the security guards are really friendly and understanding so they let me carry atlas as i walk through the scanner. i make sure to thank them for being so kind.

once we get through security we go to our gate and sit down. we still have 30 minutes until we start boarding. we do commonly get to the airport early but it is better to be early just for safety. plus with kids.

anthony sits down next to me. he offers to take atlas from my arms which i cannot deny help. i hand him to her. my arms were starting to feel like jello so it's nice to have a little break.

"are you hungry?" i ask my kids, well the 2 that are awake. they both nod. "ok let's go find some food. babe are you hungry?" i turn to ask anthony. he nods then returns his attention to his phone. i ask charli, dix, and madi as well. all 3 of them come with us plus dixie's kids.

we end up finding a little convenient store and bought some snacks and drinks. i got anthony a coke and myself a diet coke. i got the kids the snacks they asked for and some chips for ant and i as well. i paid for our stuff then waited with the kids for the others to be finished.

aleigha still was extremely hyper. something is up with her. she is basically running circles around me. i make her stop then thankfully everyone else was done. so we walk back to our gate.

"here bub." i hand ant his stuff i got for him. "thanks a. you ok?" anthony asks me looking me in my eyes. "i'm fine. just tired. also if i take atlas can you tire lee out? she is hyper, not sure why but i need her to sleep on the plane. thanks." i try not to come off bossy. "that's fine. i will take her over to an open area." anthony agrees. thank goodness.

i sit down and get comfy then anthony hands me atlas who is still dead asleep. she really can sleep anywhere. she is laying against my chest as i am on my phone. i scroll through instagram, then i check my email. i notice an email mentioning a brand deal that i did in the past and noticed that the ad did very well and they asked me to do another ad with them. of course i was on board. so i respond back to the email.
