Alex didn't have to get a job but he wouldn't mind one. It was cloudy and grey with storm clouds threatening to overtake the sky. Alex tossed on his messenger bag and sneakers then headed out of the house. He follows a fan page for An Ni- he means Max- so he was able to find out his whereabouts from there.
It wasn't stalking if you actually knew the person and said person has some recollection of you, right?
Any-who, he was on his way to a cafe. He typed the name in and connected his phone to his ear bud to sneakily listen.
The cafe also had a book store on top and somehow, even after these years, Alex feels like it's a place his An Ni would hang out at. While waiting for the next direction, he hummed a tune he heard in the car, that just so happened to pop back up in his head.

When he spotted the cafe up ahead he took the ear bud out of his ear and clicked off of the navigation app before the assistant could speak more. The bell chimed as he entered, announcing to everyone his arrival. Right behind the counter... was the person he was longing to see most. An Ni. No, his name is different now. It's Max. Max. "Hi, welcome! Can I help you sir?" Asked a ginger haired girl. She had a polite smile on her face as she waited for his answer.
Alex just pouted at the fact that Max didn't even look up to acknowledge his presence.
"Er, any recommendations?" Her smile widened and she nodded leading him over to the counter. Alex wasn't really paying attention to what she was saying. Too busy being distracted by the close proximity of his crush.
"What would you like to try?" He snapped back to reality at that.
"Er, the second option." "Okay!" Chirped the girl. Her name tag read Sara. While his order was being fixed, Alex took a brave chance to start up some chit chat with Max. "Hah, it's going to rain soon." Right when he said that thunder sounded and rain began to fall heavily.
Alex could see the visible displeasure on Max's face. "If I didn't know any better, I'd think you're a jinx." Announced Sara jokingly, bring him his drink back over. "What do you think Max?" She bumped him with her elbow.
They seem close.
With a pout, he jabbed his straw into his drink. Max didn't respond but there was some type of amusement held in his eyes. Alex took note on how Sara cataloged that as a victory. "Uh, I guess I'll go wait over there for the rain to lift." There was no sign they heard him besides Sara's short nod.
