Getting back into a routine was way harder than I expected. After a month of holidays and lounging in bed with Harry. School seemed to have completely gone out of my mind. I had lost my rhythm and felt disorganized. I had spent too many days scribbling and painting without a purpose that I no longer knew what it was like to be asked to paint. It had been a hard adaptation at the very beginning, because I had always believed that inspiration came with instinct and that you couldn't force it, so the beginning of last semester had been hard. This semester was a close second.

The first week of school went by so quickly, I felt as if I had blinked and it was over. In College, the first week is always a little easier. You go to class, the teacher talk about the syllabus and all of our assignment for the week without really going in details, consequently, the classes last about 30 minutes and then you’re done. I was glad though, because it gave me plenty of time to see Harry.

The coffee shop near Harry’s place became our favourite place to be. Although our schedules were fairly similar, I had four classes and Harry had five, which gave me some alone time here and there. It was easier to meet at the coffee shop than on campus, and much nicer. The atmosphere was great and helping a lot with the creative flow.

It was Thursday, I had an hour to kill before Harry would come and meet me, and so I took out my sketchbook, took a sip of coffee and started to draw. The hour went by so quickly that I jumped slightly once I felt warm lips on the top of my head.

“Woh woh, Anna it’s me,” the warm and familiar voice said.

I looked up and met those green eyes I adored so much. “You scared me,” I said before laughing nervously.

He smiled softly before cradling my right cheek. “I’m sorry baby,” he apologized before leaning in and giving me a proper kiss.

I hummed at the contact that I craved everyday but kept it short. Public display of affection wasn’t something I was fully fond of. As we detached our lips, I opened my eyes and saw his divert to my sketchbook that was fully open on the table. I reached for it and closed it, earning a laugh from Harry.

“Still don’t want me to see,” he chuckled. I shook my head and pecked his lips quickly before he stood straight. “I’ll be right back. Need a refill?”

“No, thanks.”

He smiled before heading to the counter. I watched him, the way he waited in line with his pigeon feet, the muscles in his shoulder, his flat ass and I laughed, happy to call him mine. He wasn’t perfect, but he was my kind of perfect. He came back to sit and I couldn’t help but to smile at him. He sat down in front of me, his smile equally as big as mine.

“You look great,” he noted as he took his first sip of coffee. He rested nonchalantly on the back of his chair, his eyes shining as he looked at me.

“Thank you,” I said as I leaned in. “How was your class today?”

“It was okay,” he replied calmly. “It was sort of boring, you know the syllabus and everything, but the class looks interesting.”

“Still think Law is for you?”

He nodded. “Yeah, I know it’s only the first week, but so far it looks great.”

I knew he meant it, all week he had talked about his classes and every single time, his face lit up at the idea. It made me so happy to see him that way, especially know that I knew that he had been lost, that school had been an issue to him before.

“How about you?” Harry asked as he leaned in too. “How was your class today?”

I smiled widely, getting excited just thinking about it. “This class looks so much fun. It’s like creative time, but with a big project at the end.”
