Shouta twitched away when he felt something touching his face, blinking awake when he heard laughter above him. "What are you doing Tenko?" The teen asked the child that was sitting on his stomach, attempting to wake him up.

"Mommy said we have a lot to do and to wake you up. Mommy made breakfast." Tenko explained before nodding to himself, proud that he remembered.

"Alright, up we go." Shouta said sitting up making the five year old fall onto his back giggling, the black haired teen didn't bother hiding his smile as he stood up, scooping Tenko up to place him on his hip. "Do you know what she made for breakfast?" The teen asked, Tenko tapped his bottom lip and furrowed his eyebrows.

"French Toast!" Tenko cheered throwing his hands in the air, Shouta tilting his head away to avoid being smacked in the face.

The teen nodded as he headed to the dining room, smiling softly at the couple in the kitchen, Inko and Hisashi worked in perfect unison with each other. Playfully teasing each other as they worked together.

"Hey Shouta, Goodmorning!" Hisashi cheered once he saw the teen, Inko looked over her shoulder, smiling at the two. "Food will be ready in a few minutes, go ahead and sit at the table. Want anything to drink?" Inko asked softly nodding towards her husband who grabbed four cups from the cabinets.

"Juice!" Tenko cheered as Shouta placed him in the chair that he had sat in last night. "Coffee." Shouta requested, getting a nod in response.

The family of four settled at the table for breakfast. "Tenko said that we have a lot to do?" Shouta asked hesitantly glancing at the two adults who smiled at the teen. "

We need to go down to the station and file for guardianship of you, Hisashi and I both have a fostering license. Since you haven't been registered as missing it will be quick, but you may need to put in a statement." Inko explained softly, watching to make sure he didn't panic.

"I won't have to go back right?" Shouta's voice cracked against his will, Hisashi's face darkened and a puff of smoke escaped his throat. "Never. I won't let them." The male promised causing tears to fill the teens eyes but he tried to wipe them away quickly.

"After that we are going to my friend's dojo to sign you up, and we are picking up some stuff ordered for Tenko. Then we are going shopping because you need some clothes and personalize your room." Hisashi explained causing Tenko to cheer some syrup on his face. Inko giggled before reaching across the table to clean the syrup off the child's face.

"Thank you." Shouta whispered, Tenko looked up at the teen before grabbing his hand in his own covered. "Mommy says that family sticks together, and you're family." Tenko said with the most serious face a five year old could manage. The teen smiled, leaning down to press a kiss to the top of the child's head.

The Midoriya's finished breakfast before getting ready for the busy day ahead of them. Hisashi gave Shouta some clothes from his teen years that he had kept for some reason. Shouta glanced at the mirror in the bathroom, his face no longer looked ghostly pale, a little color coming back. A messy braid fell over his shoulder and onto the grey hoodie that was given to him, it fell to the middle of his thighs covering half of the black jeans he was wearing.

"You look handsome." Inko teased as he walked into the living-room where the other three were waiting for him, the teen flushed, making Tenko giggle before lifting his arms to be carried. The child has gotten attached to the teen in the two days that he's known them.

"Alright, let's head out." Hisashi stated holding the door open for them before exiting himself.

Inko was in tears as they left the police station. The green haired woman had figured that the teen had gone through some bad things in his home, but actually hearing it and seeing the scars on his body was something so much more.

Hisashi was ready to hunt down Shouta's family and destroy them. Tenko didn't understand a lot of what was happening but he tried his best to cheer up his crying mother and brother.

"Bubba okay?" Tenko asked softly from the teens hip as they walked down the street to the car, Inko was leaning heavily on Hisashi in silent comfort.

"I will be. Promise." Shouta said gently rubbing the boys back, he was telling the truth. Surrounded by the positivity that the Midoriya's tend to seep out of them. "Good." The child said laying his head on the olders shoulder.

The walk to the car was quiet, all four finding comfort in the silent presence of each other. The car ride was filled with the ramblings from Tenko, the sadness disappeared from the child's happiness.

Hisashi placed a hand on Shouta's shoulders as they stood outside of a dojo. "Fair warning, Mori can be a little intimidating but he's a teddy bear." The black haired male explained with a soft smile.

"Uncle Mori!" Tenko yelled when they walked inside, a tall tanned man looked over before crouching down letting the child climb on top of his shoulder.

"This is Takashi Mori. His quirk is called Assessment, it lets him see how physically capable someone is and record their progress. It was very helpful during high school. He taught our whole friend group self defense. Tenko adores him." Inko explained with a soft smile as she watches Mori silently listen to Tenko rant about something.

"Mori, this is Shouta. He plans on entering U.A and needs some physical strength." Hisashi said making the male squint letting his normally black eyes glow a faint purple before nodding.

"Bring him next week so we can begin." Mori said making the teen jump, he was not expecting the man's voice to be as deep as it was. Tenko climbed down the man before running into Shouta's legs with a wide smile. "Big brother is gonna be super strong." The blue haired child exclaimed hugging the teens legs getting happy smiles from their parents.

"What exactly are we picking up again?" Hisashi asked wrinkling his nose at the floral smell of the shop they had walked into, Inko rolled her eyes at her husband while Shouta smiled at the couple, holding his little brothers hand.

"The specialist said that Tenko's quirk will cause dry skin and there is some special lotion that will help." Inko explained for the fifth time that day.

"Get with the program daddy." Tenko said shaking head at the man, who pouted at his youngest. Shouta bit her lip to stifle his laughter at the boys blunt answer.

"Hi, pick up for Midoriya." The green haired woman said before elbowing her husband who had a faux serious face while nodding at the sales clerk.

The clerk nodded, typing something on the computer in front of her. "Just a minute." The woman said with a soft smile before heading towards the back to grab everything. A few minutes later the woman returned with a basket of different lotions and oils.

"After every bath and shower makes sure to put the lotions on, and put a drop of this in a glass of water. One needs to be drunk a day, it should keep him hydrated and lower the likelihood that his skin flakes." The clerk explained, the two adults and teen listening so that they all know what to do.

"Thank you." Inko nodded, taking the basket while Hisashi moved forward to pay. "I'll help out when I can." Shouta said running his hand over the child's hair making him smile up at him. "I'm glad." The older woman said placing a hand on the teens cheek, Shouta subconsciously leaned into it.

The entire family was exhausted by the time they got home. "I'll put him in bed." Hisashi whispers looking down at the child who was sleeping in his arms. Inko placed a kiss on the boy's head before waving Shouta to sit beside her on the couch.

"How are you feeling?" Inko asked the teen who remained quiet looking down at his hands, twisting them together. "I'm not sure. All of this doesn't feel real just yet." Shouta explained jumping when the woman took his hands into hers. "That's okay, I'd be concerned if you were completely okay so quickly." Shouta chuckled before scooting closer, laying his head on the woman's shoulder.

"Can we stay like this for a little?" The teen asked, sounding much younger than he actually was. "As long as you need." Inko replied laying her head on his, rubbing her thumb across Shouta's knuckles. "Thank you."
