Inko learned very quickly that the twins couldn't be separated. They would scream and cry until they couldn't breath which was very frightening the first time it happened. If they were in the same room, they were typically really calm, and rarely cried, but once one left the room it was hell on earth. After the twins turned two months, they were introduced to Katsuki who they both adored, often opting to cling to him. With the young blonde around, the twins were okay to be separated, finding comfort in their best friend.

Despite being rather friendly, the twins were rather picky on who was allowed to hold them. If anyone outside of the family and Haru tried to pick them up, they would start to squirm and cry. They were okay with Masaru holding them, but if Mitsuki tried it was an immediate reaction to start crying. They didn't know why, and the doctors had no answers as well.

Both Hitoshi and Izuku had a favorite sibling besides each other. Hitoshi was often seen napping on Shouta's chest while Izuku would lean on Tenko's chest whenever he would color or watch TV.

It was a family day in the Midoriya house with the additions of Haru and Katsuki. The young blonde had started crawling and always made sure he was between the twins, and when he wondered he made sure he could always see both of them. "Kat!" Izuku cheered, causing everyone to freeze as the green haired boy got on all fours and began to rock.

"What did you say baby?" Inko asked as Kat crawled back to the twins, Izuku falling onto his but giggling. "Ito! Kat!" The youngest in the Midoriya family cooed, patting the blonde's hand. "Why are we surprised that Izuku's first words are their names?" Shouta asked, laughing softly, scooping Hitoshi into his arms, making Katsuki pout.

"Zuzu." Hitoshi said reaching for his twin, Shouta sent the purple haired baby an offended look, Haru giggled as she shook her head. "Don't be upset, you know Hitoshi loves Izuku more than anyone." The white haired girl said while the teen placed Hitoshi back down beside the blonde who grabbed his hand tightly.

The twins had a special connection to each other, the entire family knew that, they just didn't realize how special until they were a year old. As they grew up, they got more comfortable with being separated, but since they saw each other, they would hold each other for about half an hour.

During one of their times away, Izuku had gotten hurt. Katsuki and Izuku were playing together while Shouta and Tenko took Hitoshi to the store with them. The green haired twin had tripped and scraped his knee while walking around with Katsuki, at the same time, Hitoshi cried out in pain as a bruise formed on his left knee. "Zuzu. Zuzu hurt." Hitoshi sobbed, Tenko held his little brother's hand, trying to calm him down.

Shouta hurried with the shopping, in a rush to get home which would hopefully calm their brother down. The minute the trio entered their home, Hitoshi darted to Izuku and Katsuki, holding the both of them silently, when Hisashi tried to approach the three toddlers, the purple haired toddler spun around growling, his wing spread blocking his twin and best friend from view. His purple eyes glowing as the air in the house whipped around viscously.

The green haired twin shot out from behind Hitoshi, crouching down in front of his father's wings spread growlin back. The room heating up to counteract the wind. The house was quiet except for animalistic growling from the twins. Hitoshi and Izuku kept eye-contact with the toxic green and poisonous purple shining through the room. The standoff lasted about five minutes before Hitoshi looked to the ground whining before folding his wings before crawling onto the couch, curling around Katsuki who smiled. Izuku nodded before climbing onto the couch curling into the blonde's other side.

At age two the twins as well as Katsuki entered preschool, the teachers having been informed to keep the three toddlers together. It was a month into the school year that there was the first problem, both Inko and Mitsuki were called in.

The twins sat on either side of Katsuki growling quietly, the blondes eyes were red and puffy. Izuku had a split lip and a bruise on his cheek, his left eye a little swollen. Hitoshi had an identical bruise on his cheek, a black eye and a swollen lip. Two boys sat on the other side of the room with two women who Inko guessed were their mothers.

"What happened?" Inko asked as she examined her son's face, Hitoshi looked down. Since that day in the living room, the twins have been aggressive towards everyone outside of the family, but not enough to get into a fight unprovoked. The only reason they would get into a fight would be if their protective nature was forced out. "Those freaks just started attacking us!" A red haired boy exclaimed with fake tears in their eyes. "Then why do they have bruises and you don't?" Mitsuki asked with a sharp glare making the two boys flinch while their mothers examined them.

The principal looked angry, but not at the two lying boys. "Mrs. Midoriya, Mrs. Bakugou, your sons went around telling everyone that they were worthless and shouldn't mess with them." Izuku growled at the man, his eyes flashing. "That isn't what happened." Katsuki sobbed, shaking his head. The balding man opened his mouth to say something but shut it upon seeing Inko's sharp glare. "My little dragons, what happened?" Izuku was still too angry to speak, so Hitoshi took the lead.

"We were playing with the girls. They asked us to help protect their castle, and Kat was playing the dragon master. We were just having fun when they came over. They were nice at first asking us to go play with them, but we were having fun so we said no. They said that boys shouldn't play with girls because they were weak. The girls got upset so Kat went to comfort them while we told them to go away. I said that my mom, auntie, and big sister were some of the strongest people I know. Kat told the girls that he thought they were really strong. So one of them called him a liar, and Zuku told him to be quiet and to go away. The other one said that Kat was probably going to be a quirkless loser. I used a soft breeze to push them on their butts. Kat was crying so the girls started comforting him. They said that we shouldn't hang around someone so weak and Izuku growled before telling them to go away before they got a teacher. The redhead went to punch me but Zuku got in the way, the blonde went towards Kat and the girls but I cut him off so he hit me in the eye. Zuku and I tackled them, that's when the teacher came in and brought us here."

The woman with pink hair nodded, glaring at the redheaded boy. "My quirk allows me to over heartbeats, his didn't falter. Everything he said was the truth." The principal glared at the twin as if they did something. "May I ask why you're glaring at my sons?" Inko asked, tilting her head to the side. "I don't want those demons in my school." The man snapped, the four adults shot him disgusted looks. "You do realize I could arrest you for quirk discrimination right?" The black haired woman asked with a glare as he placed a hand on the top of her son's head. The principal flinched but the woman didn't care, placing a pair of cuffs on his wrists. "Can you guys let the teachers know that everyone should head home? Thanks. Come one Riko."

Inko had done some research after that day at school, and when Hitoshi and Izuku were three she was finally finished. There were a few more incidents, none as serious as the first one, small like Izuku growing at some people, Hitoshi blocking his twin and Katsuki with his wings, both of them accidentally starting fires, but it was enough for her to look into it.

The answer was simple, Dragons were pack creatures. They protect their own, which also means there is an alpha. The twins saw Hisashi as the alpha, but between the two of them, Izuku was the alpha. The twins most likely saw Katsuki as an Omega, it would be that way until his quirk came in. It was their instinct to protect him, that's why he was in the middle.

The green haired explained this to her family as well as the Bakugou's, she reminded the three Bakugou's that they in no-way saw their best friend as weak, but simply not as strong. That if told to, they would step down and let him fight on his own, but right now their instincts were screaming that he was young and not as strong as them yet, that even if he didn't get a quirk they would push him to be strong and stand beside him.
