It had felt strange... The brunette walked her usual confident stride; the witch close behind by habit.

"But Luz, we can walk to the Boiling Isle. It's what, a day and a half from here?" But Luz insisted.

"Amity I have been walking the last two weeks. I plan on coming back, so who cares if I'm seen on a train." The four with Maria tagging along had been less than half an hour away from a nearby village. On train I'd only be two hours from Magnolia. Though a walk from Magnolia to the Boiling Isle would only take one day.

The red haired companion that decided to tag along surprisingly hadn't been hanging all over Luz, she was too busy using Juan as a punching bag. Antonio leaned in and said in a hushed tone.

"Hey Amity... I managed to get your bag from the hotel." Amity simply smiled back and thanked the sweet man. The smell of rain after a storm... it had been too beautiful to describe. Something in the air had just been different... like a huge weight was lifted. The sky was brighter, and not necessarily referring to the actual forecasting weather.

Everything the witch ever wanted was now in front of her... So why had she felt so uneasy? At her side was the woman she had loved since her school days, and watching Maria and Juan fight. It only made her yearn more for her siblings back home. She couldn't fathom everyday life without Luz Noceada in the picture again. Long nights at the company office, hours and money spent at the noodle shop with her sibling, Willow and Gus. Could life possibly continue like after she left again? Could life go back to the days before she left...? Of course not.. But it hadn't mattered, because at this moment of time Amity genuinely believed any future with her childhood love would be a good one.

"I'll go buy the tickets. Stay here with Juan and Antonio." Luz demanded, soon disappearing in the stations large crowds. Easily slipping through a colony of people, the criminal began digging in her pocket at the line waiting to purchase tickets. She had already started regretting this next move, but it had to be done...

"Yes sir, how can I help you?" Asked a younger man, who couldn't have been much older than herself. He was tall, had dark eyes, long brown hair, and wore glasses.

"Yes, when does the next train to Magnolia leave?"

"The next train to Magnolia leaves in 40 minutes, though passengers must be on the train 10 minutes before departure. How many people will be traveling?"

Luz stared into space for a moment, in obvious deep thought, as if she was having serious conflicting issues. She made her so happy, and when they were together, she could act herself. She didn't have to be a quiet, stern, heartless jerk. She made Luz look forward to life... She now had something.. someone to lose... And that's why she's doing this... Victor could have blown her off this planet id he wanted, and Luz couldn't knowingly stay with her knowing just what danger the woman could run into...

"Only one"

The green headed business woman stood there waiting near the transportation devices door tired, bag in hand.

"All passengers to Magnolia, departure is in thirty minutes. We will be departing in thirty minutes, thank you." Said the masculine voice over the intercom. Amity turned to the group of criminals,

"Are you guys coming with?" she asked with a trace of doubt. It was unlikely...

"No princess, were here to see you off... You and Luz." Said Juan with a hint of sadness.

"Well I'm happy I got to meet you Juan." Amity then gave the white haired man a hug, resulting in him smiling ear to ear, sharp teeth exposed.

"Antonio" she said shifting a step over, pulling the towering man to her height and giving him a platonic peck on the cheek. The orange haired shy man hadn't ever been more shocked, face so red You'd think he was about to faint. Taking one more side step, eye level with Maria, one hand on her hip.

"I've even enjoyed your presence, Maria. Very briefly." The sassy woman scoffed in response, but held a small smirk.

"Amity. Mine's in my pocket." Said a sudden emotionally distant Noceada, one ticket in her extended arm; the other hand deep in her pocket. Luz had been looking down at the ground as she spoke, for she couldn't stand to look at her companion just yet...

Soon enough, Antonio had gotten aboard and placed the witches bags overhead. Amity, who took a seat closest to the window, stared out at people passing in the busy station and yawned.

"10 minutes until departure, all passengers to Magnolia. 10 minutes till departure"

"I better go get Luz." Said Antonio, disappearing from sight within seconds. The greenette sighed, what had taken her so long..?

Suddenly, a man came down the trains rows, taking count of everyone. "Alright we're all here. Lock the doors." He shouted.

Amity became wide eyed and stood up, "No, that can't be right. My female friend's still out there! Unlock the doors!" she demanded, and doubtful, she didn't want to believe what she subconsciously known...

"Look lady, your friend must've lied through her teeth cause there's all 58 people here that bought a ticket to Magnolia."

Her heart had fallen just after being picked up... Amity dropped, and turned her head to the window, unsure how to cope with the pain.. Especially as Yellow met brown one more time. The Blight furrowed her brows, tears about to fall, her chest burning. She then placed her palm against the glass, and although the other woman couldn't hear her verbally, when se mouthed the words 'why'; the brunette turned away, hurt even more than she... It had been for the best.

Just as the mechanism started off, becoming further and further, those hurt eyes never once looked away from Luz. The hand on the glass on the window didn't fall until Luz was out of sight.

"Luz.. Why'd you tell her you'd go home and do this.." said Juan, a mutual gloomy silence sitting over the 3 boys. Luz stared off into the distant, where Amity had sat inside the train; staring with a broken heart.

"Because, if she asked me one more time... I couldn't have said no.."
