*Re-written version of the introduction(Not too much was changed)*

The creature lurked through the forest, it's body low to the ground, and eyes and ears on full alert. It was looking for its prey; me. I hid in the brush of a few shrubs, and caught sight of its spotted fur as it walked past a large, vine covered tree, just a few meters from me. I silently pulled out my wooden dagger which I made just yesterday, and I watched the animal, it's glowing eyes piercing the night's coming darkness, to find me. This was the second jaguar I had to deal with that week, and it threatened my home, and my life. They used to rarely come around, but I guess it was just another busy week for me.

Carefully coming out of the bushes, I walked carefully up to the closest tree without making a sound, and the jaguar didn't notice as it stalked straight ahead. I gripped the dagger tight with fear. My life depended on it.

The jaguar stopped in its tracks, and looked around, trying to find the source of the scent of fear in the air. I was shaking, but decided it was now or never, to protect my territory. I was going to have to man up. I ran out from behind the tree and lunged into the air, to surprise the jaguar and kill it quickly. It reacted faster than I had anticipated and moved out of the way, turning to face me as I fell to the ground with a thud. Within the blink of an eye I was up again, staring into its golden yellow eyes. It stared back at me, evaluating my small frame, figuring out how to take me out easily. He probably thought I would be an easy kill. He sure was wrong.

He jumped at me with an incredible force, but I simply moved left and stabbed my dagger into his hind leg as he came by. I held onto it and ripped it out of his leg, and blood dripped from the fresh wound. The jaguar whimpered and growled as it faced me again.

"Come on you coward!" I yelled at it, causing multiple birds to fly away because of the sudden noise. He leaped at me again, but this time I took it. I held out the dagger out, facing it away from my body. His force pushed us to the ground, and my dagger did exactly what I wanted it to do. It stabbed right through it's rib-cage. The jaguar whimpered loud for a second, but was suddenly silent and went limp.

My heart was racing and I was breathing fast, had I killed it? Blood spilled out onto my chest from where I stabbed into it. I waited a minute with the body laying on top of me, to make sure it was gone, and it was.

I grunted as I pushed it off of me, and got up to assess the body. He was a big jaguar, and had to be at least 200 pounds. I wouldn't be able to carry him...I would have to drag him back. Grabbing some nearby vines, I tied his hind legs and front legs together, and pulled him back in the the rain forest to my hut.

My name is Aiden...welcome to life on the inside.
