Chapter 1 - Curse

In the old times, there lived a beautiful princess named Yashiro Nene. She was a beautiful girl indeed, she loved to sew, cooked and look at the lovely flowers. She lived in the kingdom of emeralds.

But one day, an evil witch came to the lands and cursed the princess. She was bound to sleep for an eternity. After the King found out about this, he was furious. He ordered his knights to search for the evil witch and bring her to him.

After many weeks and days searching for the witch, they couldn't find her and began to lose hope. But one fellow knight didn't decide to give up and continue his search instead. After days past, the fellow knight finally found the evil witch in the deep forest.

Because of the discovery of the knight, the villagers of the land cheered for joy. But the witch wouldn't tell how to break the curse so easily. After the king pursue the witch many times, the witch finally tells how to break the curse.

"To break the curse, the princess's soulmate must kiss her hand to wake her up from her deep slumber." said the witch. The witch wanted to say one more thing to the king but the king had dash out of the room to announce the news he got.

What was the thing the witch wanted to say? She wanted to say that the princess's soulmate could be more than one. But because the king was impatient, he lost that important information.

After the announcement from the king, all of the princes from all the lands have come to visit the dear princess. Which also includes the Kingdom of Shards. (I can't think of a good name)

The news had spread like wild fire. The king was satisfied that it spreaded quickly. He didn't want to see his dear daughter in her slumber for so long. The king and queen had doubt's about finding her soulmate since there are a lot of princes in the land and many villagers as well.

Now after the Kingdom of Shards have received about the news, the king of the land ordered his two sons to go visit the princess. Although the two sons didn't want to visit her, they were forced to.

The two sons were very handsome indeed. The oldest one was named Amane Yugi. He had golden eyes that stands out of the crowd, a charming and dashing personality that made many girls fall in love with him. He was soon crown to be king. While the youngest one was named Tsukasa Yugi. He had golden eyes just like his brother. He also has a cheeky and playful personality. Besides that, he's as charming and dashing just like his twin brother.

"Father, must we really visit the princess from the Kingdom of Emeralds? Finding her soulmate is a one percent chance out of a hundred percent!" said the youngest brother, Tsukasa. "Yes we must visit her, it is mandatory for all of the princes from all of the lands to visit her." said the king. "Now go on and get ready to visit the princess. Make sure to look good and not sloppy. We can't let our good name be damaged."

The oldest brother, Amane also didn't wanted to visit the princess. But as he was taught to respect and never fought back to his father's words, he didn't protest about it. As both of them were on their way to their room, Tsukasa spoke something to his brother. "Amaneee, why didn't you protest to father? If you did, we wouldn't have to visit the princess!"

"Tsukasa, you know it very well even if I protest to father, he wouldn't budge. Plus it's mandatory for all the princes of all the lands to visit the princess. Of course he wouldn't let it slide." After hearing it, Tsukasa frown. "How upsetting, why must that darn witch curse her?" complained Tsukasa.

After their conversation, they quickly went into their rooms and dressed up. Amane wore a white suit with a black bow tie while Tsukasa wore a black suit with a white bow tie. Both of their suits looks similar but have different designs.

After finishing up, they went downstairs to meet with their father. "Are both of you ready?" question their father. "Yes, father." answered both of them. Finally the carriage arrived after a few minutes. All of them went inside the carriage and continue their journey to visit the princess.
