(Y/N) and Hera were enjoying a quiet morning sitting on the terrace overlooking the lake. The small table was filled with platters of fruit and pastries and the two women slowly ate their breakfast while watching over their children playing further away. The warm sunlight highlighted the boy's emerald hair and the little girl's deep blue skin.

"They've made so much progress since the last time you came to visit." (Y/N) commented to her friend.

"Yes. I try to let Jaycen practice a little bit everyday when we're not flying. Vurawn's also getting better." Hera answered with a smile.

They looked at the pair playing catch in the yard. They were throwing a ball back and forth, but none of them was actually touching it. They both used the Force to move it around. Every once in a while, either her daughter or Hera's son lost focus and the ball stopped floating, but they always laughed and encouraged each other. It was a fun game to help them hone their abilities.

"I think she misses you guys more than she wants to admit." (Y/N) said. "You know, you're always welcome to stay here for longer now that the war is over. There's plenty of room in the house."

"I guess we could stop by more often. You two seem very happy here, more than when we were all living piled up on the Ghost." the Twi'lek conceded. "But I could never stop flying and I know Jaycen also loves being my copilot."

"I understand. I still appreciate you coming all the way to Naboo." the young woman then said with a smile.

Down in the yard, she suddenly saw Vurawn drop the ball and turn towards her, her bright red eyes staring right at her. She was about to ask her daughter if she needed anything when her comlink lit up. She answered and was glad to hear Sabine's voice greeting her.

"Good morning Sabine! I'm with Hera" (Y/N) replied.

"Hi Sabine! How are you?" she exclaimed happily.

"Pretty good, actually. I just spent a few days on Lothal before heading here. I wanted to make sure you were home before landing." the Mandolorian woman told them.

"Sure, we're in the backyard near the lake." (Y/N) informed her.

"See you in five!" Sabine said before ending the call.

Jaycen and Vurawn literally ran up the terrace's steps before respectively reaching their mother. She guessed that her daughter already knew it was Sabine who just called. The children's enthusiastic chatter soon confirmed it. Together, they all made their way through the house until they reached the front yard. A couple of minutes later, they saw a ship approaching in the distance. They all waited on the porch while Sabine took her time to land between the rows of trees and the front gate, blowing leaves around.

When the ship finally stopped, the group headed towards it and Sabine walked down the ramp. The children ran up to her and jumped in her arms. She hugged them tight and spun them around while they screamed excitedly. She then put them back on the ground and met Hera and (Y/N) halfway across the yard.

"It's been so long since I have seen you both. I missed you." Sabine said before giving each of them a hug.

"We missed you too." Hera said.

"Come inside! We were having breakfast when you called. You must be hungry." (Y/N) offered, turning around to head back to the house.

"I won't refuse a good meal, that's for sure!' she agreed while walking towards the front door. "I'll go with Hera and Jaycen, but I think you should stay and take a look at the ship, (Y/N)."

"Now?" she asked, stopping in her tracks. "Why?"

"Just go." Sabine insisted without even looking back at her. "You can thank me later."
