24. Teen Top Chunji: Next To You {Requested}

It was already spring break, but Sanghee was forced to stay at her school because her parents told her they would be busy for the whole break. It was an all girls Academy, where she had been staying for the past three years and seeing her family once a year or not at all. Her friends wanted to take her with them so they can have fun in the village, but she refused and decided to stay in the campus with the other girls who decided to stay as well.

She woke up from the screaming of other girls from the room next to hers. She sat up and rubbed her eyes, she looked at the time and it was already 11pm. She stretched her arms in the air and stood up, she took a shower and got dressed. She went straight to the cafeteria to have brunch. After eating, she decided to go the library to borrow a book. She looked through the shelves where new books were placed and found the perfect one, Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowling. She checked it out and walked to the back of the school where she always hang our with her best friend Hyun Ok. She sat uder the tree, put on her earbuds and played Niel's Lovekiller. She then opened the book and started reading. She was at a really good part of the book when she felt someone's eyes staring at her. She looked around and found nothing, until she heard the branch above her crack a little bit. She looked up and a saw a guy with binoculars, her eyes widen as she closed her book and took her earbuds out.

"What are you doing?" She asked and the guy panicked and looked down.

"Oh....uh I was just... uh-"

"You're creepy, and I know this tree reaches the other side of the academy but it doesnt mean it's yours," she told him.

"Sassy much?" he chuckled. "So is this your tree?"

"Yes, now get off."

"Whoa there," he laughed.

"If you don't then-" she started but was cut off when the branch the boy was on cracked and he fell on top of her. Sanghee let out a deep breath and nearly screamed through the pain but Chunji just laughed.

"What are you doing? Get off me!" She yelled and pushed him off of her. He then stood up and offered his hand to help her up.

"Gwaenchanha? Mian..." he smiled and she just took his hand and stood up.

"What were you even doing up there peeping Tom," she teased and he let out a light chuckle. "What's so funny?"

"Nothing," he smiled as he took a seat under the tree and checked out her book. "It's spring break, why are you at school?"

"None of your business," she softly said and sat down next to him. "Is that the only thing you do? Peek at an all girls academy?"

"No. Was that a bad thing?"

"Well for any girls it is, cause it's actually creepy to be honest."

"Oh, is that so? Sorry," he chuckled and put his hand behind his head.

They went silent and she opened her book once again to read, this time she didn't put on her earbuds. He just sat there watching her read.

"Waeyo?" She asked continuing her reading.

"Nothing," he smiled and looked up. "Talk to me? I mean, if you're really into the book I can just watch you."

Sanghee then closed her book and put it on the ground next to her, with her phone. She looked at him with both eyebrows raised. He smiled and she did too, he winked at her and she just rolled her eyes and rested her head on the tree trunk behind her.

"So," they said in unison and laughed.

"You can go first," he smiled and she just gave him a slight nod.
