It's been a week since she's been captive in the hospital

The hospital is not an ideal nor a nice place for [y/n] as she lay down on her bed

She never liked the smell of the hospital, it always make her feel uncomfortable whenever she's in there, it's just different..

She doesn't like it..

She felt caged..

She felt like she's being trapped inside..

It's just nothing like..

"Doc" the doctor looked at her as he's monitoring her blood and oxygen

"What is it [y/n]?" [y/n] then sat up and frowned

"I searched about my disease and.." the doctor stayed quiet as he wants her to finish her sentence

"The lifespan of most people that have my disease is 5-7 years, how come mine's 3 months? we're not even sure" the doctor released a deep sigh and look back on his things

"We don't also know, maybe your body is too weak to handle it for that long" [y/n] then smile as she looks at the window of her room

It got a good view even though you can only see a little part of the outside

"You keep staring at that small window, you do know you can go outside whenever you like right?" she hum as response

Of course she knows that, she's not deaf and she pretty much listen to almost every word her doctor tells  her

But it's just..

She just don't feel like going outside

Outside is like a battlefield, like a very hard battle that she wants to avoid

Just then her parent- wait no can she even call them her parents..

Still looking at the window her father tapped her shoulder as she looks at him and noticed that her doctor is already gone

"Do you want to eat?" She also notice the foods in the mini table of the room

"I just ate dad, the nurse gave me some food since you're still not here, I'll eat it later.. if it's okay.." The man then sigh before nodding his head then looked at his wife

"Do you somehow want to go out?" Her stepmom asked as she looked at her before shaking her head

"O-okay" Felt a little hurt, she turn around and sit beside her husband as [y/n] turn her back against them

She's hurting and she won't lie about that

She's still asking herself why can't she accept the fact..

The fact that she's not her daughter, all those years are full of lies

But she can't rant it all out, she don't want her soon to be sibling gone, it might stress her out and lost them..

Just earlier she's refusing on going out but here she is outside sitting on a bench by the hospital mini garden where some kid's that is being confined in the hospital is playing with each other

She released a heavy sigh before looking down to her feet thinking about him which is absolutely wrong..

But then again, she can't stop her own mind..
