" MAIA" He called for her as he knocked her door and rang her door bell, she finally woke up from her sleep and got up to check who was at the door " what are you doing here?" she asked her friend, Luke with her raspy voice as she rubbed her eyes " we were supposed to- never mind did you just wake up?" he asked an obvious question, she nods her head and heads to the bathroom to wash up as Luke sat on her couch and waited.

" Your apartments really nice" Luke told her as she walked out from her room putting her glasses on, she smiled " thank you lucas" walking to her kitchen to make a cup of coffee for her and her friend, Luke and Maia have been friends since freshman year but their connection was so strong it felt like they've known each other their whole life.

Luke gasped as Maia told him about Vinnie and how they met, Luke had a big grin on his face " your first date is tonight, lets go shopping" he squealed, Maia shrugged her shoulder " i have a perfect fit for my date plus we aren't going anywhere fancy"

" please ! its your first date ever since you know who." Luke rolled his eyes, Maia smacked his hand " dont use me as an excuse just to go shopping"

Luke gave Maia a look, his eyes filled with doubts " i dont know, i'm unsure about this Vinnie guy. 3 days? Girl thats crazy" Maia chuckled " lets just see where this goes"

Maia got ready for her date with Vinnie, she wore a sage green silk dress which sat nicely on her body " how do i look?" asking her friend sitting on the couch, he placed a hand on his heart " now you will definitely make him move on in 1 day thats for sure"

Vinnie rang the doorbell causing the girl to be alarmed, she quickly to the door making sure she looked presentable " hi" she nervously smiled at the boy standing at her door " hi" he smiled " you look really beautiful today" he added, " how unique" she sarcastically responded as she locked her door and walked towards his car.

He opened the door for her and shutting it as she sat down in the passenger seat, he sat in the drivers seat and drove off.

They sat down in the restaurant and ordered their food, " so that does this mean we have do to couple things now?" Vinnie asked the girl whos mouth was filled with a whole sushi, she nods her head and watched as the boy got up and leaned towards her to give her a little peck on her forehead.

" stop being so cheesy, just eat your sushi" she laughed.

After their cute dinner date, they took a stroll on the beach — the cold breeze brush against their skin the sound of the waves were like music to their ears. The two were silent thinking about what to say, the silence was comfortable it was just the two of them enjoying each other's company.

" tell me about her," Maia spoke for the first time since they arrived at the beach, Vinnie looked at her " who?" he asked the girl who slightly chuckled " mai" she answered then realising it maybe inappropriate " i-im sorry, im just curious" she added.
Vinnie shook his head " no its all good," He then explained to the girl.

" you really fell for her, didn't you?" she asked the boy who nods his head.

Maia and Vinnie slowly made their way home, Vinnie walked her to her door step " thank you for today" she says before she walked into her house, he smiles and walked to his car.
