Droplets of sweet words sprinkled my evening

When Nakshatra came to pick me up at the college for our walk to my building. Ponds of small paragraphs kept on emerging in my mind. I was wondering how will I tell him what's in my mind. He knew my silence was forming clouds so he uttered.

 "What happened beautiful?"

" I was thinking about that creepy flat in my building having a big lock. Whenever I ask about it to someone they deny to answer my questions."

I can see the amusement on his face. He held me with my shoulders and asked me to forget that flat and its truth. He must be protective about me, but there was no way that I would listen to him.

"No. I want to know about it. "

As soon as I said this to him, I kissed his cheeks and ran towards the building. My whole evening went on deciding how will I seek out the truth. Well, my planning was underway but my stomach was already hungry. Having my dinner made me sleepy and without stressing more about things I headed to sleep.

The next morning as usual I got dressed for my college and went outside my building to the same spot where Nakshatra would always wait for me. I didn't know that things would be different today. Nakshatra was nowhere around, I kept waiting for him but nothing happens. I started walking alone to my college thinking about situations that could have taken place for him to not show up today.

It was strange in the evening, he still wasn't there waiting for me. Where was he, I didn't know. Things went like this for months, my mind was stuck on Nakshatra therefore, I put aside all my plannings. Walking on the corridor of my college I collided with one of our peon bhaiya. He was carrying a picture in his hand. I took the picture from the floor where it fell after our collision and gave it back to him. When he was taking the picture from my hand, I realized that it was Nakshatra's picture.

"Peon Bhaiya, why are you having this picture in your hand? "

He told me that the picture belongs to an ex-student of the college. I didn't question him much, now I was clear that Nakshatra has left the college due to this reason he isn't around. He must have left the town.

I felt heartbroken. How could he leave me without closure? He could have told me about all this and we could have managed things, instead, he left without telling me anything. The months I passed reminiscing him were gone, all I had for him was anger.

Since my love life has ended, I can focus on the plans I had made to seek out the truth. I will take time to move on from Nakshatra, but I will focus on what I am seeking.

***The story of Nakshatra and Yukti ends here***

My heart won't surrender tonight

Coz I know what I want

The reminisces of time can't get me bleeding

The blowing wind being so cold

Fades the emptiness of my soul

And those stains on the moon

Reminds me of the old nostalgic wounds

Stabbed by your sins and false glory

That ripped off the chapters of our story

Even then I am standing fighting to hold...we

Through the darkest of the years

Coz I know there is a part of you

 That still adores me.
