Part 1

It's happening, it's finally happening, the most awaited day..by everyone except myself said Meyshna in her head as she sat on the stage beside the groom.

Everyone around her are happy for her, but for her, its blank, she can't express what she's feeling like. Her mum, Parvathy is instructing her what to do and Meyshna is just blindly following it.

The groom tied the thali around her neck but she sat there without any reaction. It was an intimate wedding among immediate family of both the groom and bride. Soon after conveying their wishes to the newly wed, the crowd went off and the couple got back home.

Usual post wedding rituals happened and the bride's family went back. Before leaving, Parvathy told Meyshna "behave and act normal, per a kapathura maari nadandhuko, puriyumnu nenaikuren". Meyshna nodded her head and sent off her family.
That night, the first night of this newly wed.

Meyshna went inside the room and saw "Congratulations Ashwin and Meyshna" decorated on the wall, that's when it started syncing in for her that she's married, married to someone she has barely spoke to.

She closed the door and searched for Ashwin but he was nowhere to be found. She was getting restless, she's not prepared for this, and she has no idea on how she's going to let him know that she's not ready. Her hands and legs started to shiver, due to all the fear and anxiousness.

After a while, she heard the door open, her heart started to beat really fast. Meyshna remained silent sitting on the bed, even avoided to check who's coming in.
