seven

around 7:30pm after putting on their winter coats, the family settled into the car to finally make way toward felixs restaurant.

tonight, felix closed the restaurant early so the bunch could have it to themselves and not have to worry about other customers roaming around.

the drive to the diner was around 15 minutes away from the lee and han residence. and just like always, jisung managed to fall asleep in that short amount of time. i guess some things never change.

when upon arrival, jisung woke up to the sound of minkyu getting excited that they had arrived. "dada! dada! wake up, uncle innie is waiting inside for me!" he squealed, wiggling around in his car seat.

once parked, minho got out and unbuckled minkyu from his car seat and watched the boy rush inside. "minkyu! wait for me and your father!" he yelled but there was no use.

"no! it's cold!" the boy proceeded to make his way inside the familiar restaurant that he knew like the back of his hand.

"let him go, he'll be fine. we come here a lot." jisung comforted minho who seemed a bit stressed. the older was a bit tense and jisung could read him like an open book. "babe, relax. i can tell he's not the one you're worried for. you'll be okay, i promise. i know you're afraid a lot has changed, but they still love you and have been waiting for this day for 5 whole years." jisung rubbed minhos shoulders and leaned in placing a short peck on the others shivering lips.

"thank you, darling" the two intertwined hands and took a deep breath. it was a big moment that was soon to come. one that minho was unsure of, but it was bound to happen anyways.

they walked towards the beautiful brick building with a mix of modern and antique lights decorating the outside. once they reached inside, they were greeted with an employee. "jisung, welcome! oh, and you must be the infamous mr. lee minho. come come, felix and the others await in the back."

the woman guided them to the back room where 7 others awaited along with minkyu who had rushed inside of course.

minho felt overwhelmed but with a sense of relief. he couldn't believe it. he was finally standing with everyone once again.

from left to right sat; hyunjin and seungmin holding a small little girl who was merely a year of age, then felix and changbin. across from felix and changbin sat chan and jeongin.

"minho, oh my god! look at you!" felix jumped out of his seat and ran towards the older male and embraced him in a hug. "fuck i missed you"

minho smiled contently. if he was being honest, he'd missed felixs teddy bear hugs "hey lix, it's nice to see you too"

as they pulled away from the hug, it seemed that everyone had gotten up from their seats as well to greet their missed friend.

"well shit, if it isn't the one and only" chan laughed a bit to hide the fact he was most definitely crying as he took his turn to hug minho. "i really missed having you around man, like really. there are just some day where i was missing a little bit of lee in my life"

"i missed you too, chan." minho smile while on the break of tears of joy as they pulled back from the hug.

"it's great to see you, hyung. you look as hot as ever." jeongin said as he gave his share of the greeting hug.

"thanks innie" minho chuckled "and you too" he said giving the younger a small butt tap and squeeze during the embrace.

"watch it, lee" jisung and chan warned, not liking that interaction.

"loosen up, it's just a friendly gesture" jeongin informed as he backed away from minho leaving a peck on his cheek. that's just how jeongin was with his close friends and they all knew that. it truly meant nothing but of course minho wasn't familiar with this type of behavior from jeongin since he'd been gone for quite some time. so it was a bit awkward.
