Over the next few days, they continued on building the new ship.
Captain Celaeno pulled Capper to the side.
"Capper, what would you say to being part of my crew?" She asked.
Capper was amazed.
"Well, it's a tempting offer. I have always wanted to travel. I think maybe..."
Before he could finish, he looked back at Rarity.
She was talking with Pinkie Pie.
He gazed at her beauty.
Her smile, her mane, her eyes, her laugh.
"I'm sorry. I don't know." He said.
"Well, it's okay if you say no. I'll give you time to think about it. Just tell me when you've decided." Celaeno said.
Capper didn't know what to do.
Should he travel the world and experience new sights and things?
Or should he stay and try to take the chance of winning the girl of his dreams?
He kept thinking and thinking.
"Wait. What is there to think about? Even if I chose to stay, why would a dazzling beauty like her be with a low life like me? She so classy and I'm so ordinary. She deserves so much better. She deserves a prince." He said.
So, he told Celaeno that he is accepts her offer.
A few weeks more, the ship was rebuilt and even better than the original look.
"Well, crew. It's time to go. Thank you all so much for helping us." Celaeno said.
"It was our pleasure. Consider it our way of thanking you for helping us." Celestia said.
Capper packed a satchel for the trip.
"Capper? Is it true? Are you leaving?" Rarity asked.
Capper teared up, but hid it.
"Yes I am. Captain Celaeno offered me a place in her crew. I figured it would be a good experience." He said.
"Oh well, I'm happy for you, but I'm really going to miss you." She said.
"I'll miss you too, Rarity. You're the one who changed my heart and helped me actually see that I have goodness in me. I thank you." He said.
He kissed her hoof.
"Goodbye, Rarity." He said.
He turned around and walked up on the ship.
"I love you." He muttered.
But his words fell on faint ears.
Rarity watched him with tears in her eyes.
"Goodbye, Capper." She said.
The ship started flying away.
All the ponies watched.
Capper tried to hold back his tears but couldn't.
He then remembered his little gift for Rarity.
He raced to the stern of the ship and called out, "Rarity!"
It caught her attention.
He then took the gift out of his pocket and tossed it down to her.
She caught it with her magic.
It was a beautiful heart shaped locket with a swan.
