Meanwhile, at a lovely old castle, surrounded by a beautiful lake and trees, an old enemy is scheming.

He spoke to a beautiful swan that was swimming on the lake.
"Don't worry, my dear. My spell doesn't even last the whole night. Just as the moon rises and hits your wings..."
The moonlight rose.
Suddenly a flash of light surrounded the swan.

"And that's how it works. You must be on the lake of course to turn back into a unicorn." He said.
She stepped out of the lake.
"Look, Rarity, this sort of thing doesn't give me any pleasure. Well, maybe a tiny bit. What I really want is a kingdom of my own." He said.
"Take one over then. You have plenty of power to do so." She said.
"Can't. Tried that already. Once, you steal something, you spend your whole life fighting to keep it. So, I have decided to create a kingdom of my own. I already have a castle, and the forest I will cut down to make my kingdom, I will have subjects and servants and everything. I will become the kind of ruler I have always dreamed of being, but I am just missing one thing. A queen. I want the most beautiful creature in the world to rule by my side." He said, taking her hoof.
"We shall rule this kingdom together, as king and queen." He said.
Rarity swiped her hoof away.
"Never!" She said.
"If you agree, I will remove the spell. I promise." He said.
"I'd rather die than marry you! Besides, I have no royal blood in me. Why me?" She said.
"Because your beautiful. I will have the most beautiful mare in the world as my queen. That's all I care about." He said.
"Well, that will not happen. You will have to find someone else to be your queen." She said.
She turned around and tried to get away.
"You may want to stay. As soon as the moon sets, you'll turn back into a swan. No matter where you are." He said.
She stopped and burst into tears.
He then disappeared.
Tears fell from her eyes, as she looked up at the stars.
All she could think about was Capper.
"I wish I had told him how I felt before he left. Maybe then he would have stayed. This spell could mean I will never see him or my friends again." She said.
Little did she know, he was thinking about her as well.
