Harry woke up to a ray of sun shining on his face, he turned around wanting more sleep but remember that today he was going back to Hogwarts! He threw off the covers and ran over to his closet to change his clothes and went straight to the bathroom. Harry knew that the Hogwarts train left at 11 in the evening sharp, and he still had a lot of time. But he really couldn't wait! He came back out and tried to flatten his messy hair but was obviously a failure. His pet owl Hegwig, was still asleep in her cage so Harry decided to read his copy of 'History of magic' one last time before he was on his way to the Hogwarts train.
At last Harry sat down in a free compartment, on the train which was very hard to find. Ron and Hermonie weren't there and Harry hadn't seen them since the morning which was a little suspicious. But he decided to let it go for once in his life. He looked out the window, where the train began to move. He was sure that this year of Hogwarts was gonna be filled with peace and quiet. But thinking about it, Harry didn't remember a single year where there wasn't any trouble. The compartment door slide open, to a blond haired boy with blue eyes. Harry didn't have to think of who it was, he knew that it was Draco. But what was he doing here?
"Don't ask." He said in a bored tone. He placed his luggage on the rack above and sat down. "There weren't any other free compartment's."
"Where are your friends?" He hesitated to ask.
"They're perfect." He said not making eye contact, which Harry was pretty thankful for. Harry nodded and looked down at the floor, maybe his friends were also 'Perfect's' that's why they weren't with him. He sighed and went back to looking at the window.
"Anything different going on with your friends?" He asked, he didn't want too but the words just came out of his mouth. He was expecting Draco to not answer, but Draco nodded.
"Not much really, but..." He looked out the window also.
"Hm?" Harry asked, looking at Draco.
"Pansy, became a player."
"I- wow" He said, not expecting that from him.
"Yeah." He said in his normal bored tone. "So what about with you, Granger, and Weasley?" He asked. Harry looked at him shocked, not only was he not calling Hermonie a mudblood, and calling Ron a weasel but Weasley itself, but he was actually trying to make a conversation with Harry.
"N-nothing much has been going on." He said looking down at his lap. "I mean we are alive aren't we? And that's the thing that matters..." There was an awkward silence that lasted a minute before Draco broke it.
"And how about your relatives?" He asked, Harry looked up his mouth hanging down as if Draco was some kind of animal.
"T-they are good," He mumbled awkwardly. "Treat me okay..."
"What do you mean 'treat you okay'?"
"Never mind that," Harry quickly said. "How is your family?"
"Fine." He grumbled, as if he was mad at Harry for not answering his question. They didn't speak much after. Harry just sat and stared out the window, after what felt like hours the lunch cart came in.
"Hello dears, anything off the cart?" Said a little dumpy woman. Harry got up taking out his coins from his pocket. He bought a few of every-flavored-beans, chocolate frogs, pumpkin juice, and some pumpkin pastries. Draco didn't buy anything though, and just sat looking out the window not paying attention to Harry or the cart.
"Want some?" He asked out of the blue, when he was finished buying and the cart left. Draco looked up at the every-flavored-beans Harry was holding and nodded.
