The Park And A New Friend

~Brad's pov~

I woke up at 12:30 in the morning and I walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take a shower. When I finished I put on my undergarments and then my black jeans and a white shirt. I walked downstairs and saw that Amelia was already downstairs, I walked over to her and said "morning princess" she smiled and said "morning" I looked at her and said "do you know where my parents are" she looked at me and said "nope" I nodded and said "Ami, you want to go to the park" she thought about it and said "sure" I smiled and said "let's go."

{At The Park}

~Amelia's pov~

We got to the park, me and Brad were walking and getting to know each other. My phone then vibrated and I saw it was Zayn.

{Text Convo Z- Zayn, Ami- Amelia}

Z- Hey Ami
Ami- Hey
Z- How's everything with the new family thing
Ami- everything is fine, right now, me and Brad are in the park
Z- Okay, well I'm going back on tour, in a couple days
Ami- I can't believe we got split up
Z- I know, I have to go

Brad looked at me and said "who was that" I looked at him and said "it was Zayn" he nodded and said "Ami, I have to meet up with some people, do you remember the way back" I looked at the ground and said "ok, and yeah I remember the way back" he looked at me and said "what's wrong" I looked at him and said "it's your dad" He sighed and gave me his number and said "if anything just text me" I nodded and said "bye"

Brad had left and I was walking around the park by myself. I then saw someone riding there skateboard and the person almost ran into me but he stopped the skateboard. He looked me in the eyes and said "you need to be careful next time" I nodded and said "okay, sorry" he shook his head and said "it's fine, and I'm Niall and you are" I looked him in the eyes and said "I'm Amelia" he smiled and said "what a lovely name" I blushed and said "thanks" he smiled and said "wanna walk" I shrugged my shoulders and said "sure."

~Niall's pov~

Me and Amelia where walking and talking to get to know each other. She seemed pretty cool, She then gave me her number and I said "I will text you later, I have to meet up with my friends" she nodded and said "bye, it was nice meeting you" I skated back to where Louis and Liam was. Liam looked at me and said "so, where have you been" I looked at him and said "no where" Louis then said "so, then who's the girl" I sighed and said "I bumped into her while I was skating and her name is Amelia" they both smirked and I said "what ever" We then started skating back home.

~Amelia's pov~

I just got back to the house and saw Brad's mum, she looked at me and said "where the hell have you been" I looked at her and said "me and Brad went to the park and then he left cause he said he had to meet up with someone" she nodded and I went upstairs to my room. I laid on my bed and my phone went off. I looked at the caller I.D. and saw that Brad was calling me.

A- Hello
B- Hey, Ami
A- Yes
B- Would you be ok if I left you there for the day with my parents
A- Umm I guess
B- Okay, it's just that I'm staying over my friends house
A- Okay, if anything, I would just text you

I sighed and thought, his dad just better not do anything. "Amelia" I heard Brad's mum yell, I stood up and walked downstairs. I looked at his mum and she smiled and said "are you hungry" I shook my head and said "not right now" his mum nodded and said "just let me know when your hungry"

~Zayn's pov~

I grabbed my phone and went outside to call my sister.

Ami- Hello
Z- Hey Ami, how's the new family
Ami- It's ok, Brad is staying at his friends house for the night
Z- Okay, I'm going back on tour next week
Ami- But that's like in 3 days
Z- I know, I hope we would be able to see each other again

I walked back inside and sat next to Louis on the couch. I looked at them and said so what did you guys do at the park. Louis looked at me and said "we skateboarded and Niall meet a girl" I smiled and said "okay, so Niall who's the girl" he looked at me and said "no one" I chuckled and said "sure." He stood up and went to his room.

~ Niall's pov~

I left the living room and realized that we go back on tour in 3 days. I sighed and thought about Amelia, she's really beautiful and I think I might like her. I grabbed my phone and looked for Amelia's number, once I found it I called her.

Ni- Hi love
Ami- Hi
Ni- What are you up too
Ami- Nothing much how about you
Ni- In my room away from the lads
Ami- Ok
Ni- I was wondering if we could meet at the park tomorrow

Ni- Great, well I have to go but see you tomorrow

I felt myself smiling like a dork and my door opened and Louis said "who's love" I looked at him and said "no one that concerns you" he chuckled and said "is it Amelia" I groaned and said "maybe," He laughed and said "Ni, I think you might like her" I looked at him and said "okay" he smiled and sat next to me. He then said "Ni, you have to come downstairs and eat" I nodded and we stood up and walked downstairs to eat.

~Amelia's pov~

I was laying on the bed and then the door to my room opened I looked and saw Brad's mum, she smiled and said "I have to go to work, so you will be here alone until my husband gets back, and if you want something to eat its in the fridge" I nodded and said "ok" and then she left. "Just great" I thought. She left and I started to play a game on my phone.

{Couple Hours Later}

I just finished eating and went back upstairs and looked at the time and saw it was 12:30am I sighed and started getting ready for bed until I heard something break downstairs. I stood back up and thought it must have been his dad, I prayed that he wont come to my room but the door to my room opened and I saw his dad. I sighed and looked at him, he looked back at me and started walking closer to me. I backed up until my back hit the wall, "were the hell where you" he asked and I could smell the vodka and hear the anger in him voice. "no where" I answered quietly, he looked me in the eyes "you ungrateful child" he yelled at me and hit me across the face. I winced in pain and held my cheek. He then left and then I remembered when my dad used to hit me, he told me the same exact thing my dad did. I started crying at the memory and also because my face really hurt. I grabbed my phone and called Brad, but a unfamiliar voice answered.

{Phone Call B-Brad, Ami- Amelia}

B- Hello *unfamiliar voice*
Ami- Umm... Hi is this Brad
B- No this is Andrew, who's this
Ami- I guess you could say I'm his adopted sister
B- Ok, do you want to speak to Brad
Ami- Yea, can you put him on his phone
B- Yea hold on
*Couple seconds later*
B- Hello
Ami- Brad?
B- Omg Ami, are you okay? have you been crying?
Ami- We'll I'm crying right now
B- What did my dad do
Ami- He came home and he was drunk and then he hit me
B- Okay, what did he say to you
Ami- He asked "where have I been" even though I was here the whole time and he said "I was an ungrateful child"
B- Don't listen to him, but get some rest and I promise, I will be home around 8 in the morning
Ami- Ok
B- Goodnight, I love you
Ami- Night, I love you too
