"Tsukki!"
Yamaguchi ran up to Tsukishima before the blond had the chance to walk into the gym for practice, a daisy chain crown adorned the green nest of his hair.
Tsukishima felt a bitter feeling settle in his chest at the sight of it.
"Did you make that?"
"What? Oh! No! Terushima made it for me."
"Oh...so you two are good friends now?"
Yamaguchi smiled widely, his face glowing in joy, Tsukishima's face was the exact opposite. Dull and sunken.
"Yeah! Teru's awesome, and amazing at Daisy chains!"
"Uhm, well...good for him. So, I don't know about you...but i have to actually get to practice so..."
"Ah! Right! Gomen Tsukki!"
Yamaguchi walked into the gym behind Tsukishima and said hi to their teammates. Hinata complemented Yamaguchi on his daisy chain and Tsukishima felt his chest tighten.

Practice seemed unbearable today and Tsukishima didn't know why. The moody blond never usually had a problem with stamina or going Slightly over his athletic limit.
It wasn't like he was even tired really...he just felt more...weighed down.
Tsukishima sighed as he walked out of the gym. School was fine and practice was fine, so why does he feel like collapsing into some sort of daisy filled abyss. Except the daisies had thorns and every one of them impaled him.
Impaled his pale skin and crying eyes and choked up throat until he was nothing but just a daisy himself.
The worst part was that he didn't mind the idea of that.

Tsukishima sluggishly opened his front door, Akiteru greeted him there with a cheery 'hey Kei!' then laughing at himself because 'hey! That rhymed!'
He walked right past his idiotic brother, trudging up the stairs and entering his bedroom.
He slammed the door closed and dropped his bag haphazardly in the middle of the room before flopping down onto his bed.
Tsukishima heaved a sigh at the feeling in his chest. The one from earlier. It still hadn't lightened, in fact, not only could he feel it in his chest, but now, his whole body.
That agonising tightness.
