Chapter 1:Christmas tree shopping

Kelsea's POV
Only 23 days left til Christmas and we do not even have a Christmas tree up in the living room. Whenever I got up and walked to the kitchen to make some hot coco, to my surprise, dad was there making some breakfast for me, mom, and my sister Nikki. "Hey dad!" I said cheerfully while grabbing one of my favorite mugs (it was a Santa one). "HOHO MORNING KELSEA!" He said mimicking Santa. I smiled and made some hot coco. "Hey dad can we go to the Christmas tree lot later to get like a very BIG Christmas tree please?" I said making a pouty face at him. "We can Kelsea! I think that would be a very amazing idea!" he said flipping over a pancake.

"Yay I'll get some clothes ready after we eat so we can be prepared to go!" I said drinking the hot coco. The hot coco was so warm, it heated up my body. While we were all eating at the table, it began to snow. "OH MY GOD ITS SNOWING!" Nikki said standing up and looking out the window. "OH MY GOODNESS IT IS! CAN ME AND NIKKI GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY IN THE SNOW?" I said looking at mom and dad. " Yes yes you can!" Mom said smiling.

As me and Nikki change clothes and run outside in the snow, I take my hair out of the beanie and let it fly through the snowy wind. Nikki of course did the same thing.

Alex's POV
Whenever I woke up this morning, my room was a mess. "Oh my gosh I forgot to clean it. Me and mom are supposed to go to the tree market today to get a Christmas tree for the house today." I thought in my mind. So I speed cleaned my room and made breakfast for my mom. "Good morning Alex" my mom said walking through the kitchen and made some coffee. "Morning mom. Wait don't drink coffee let me make you some hot chocolate to get in the holiday spirit!" I said smiling. "Ok ok I'll be at the table waiting for your delicious food" she said sitting at the table.

After I made breakfast, I put a plate in front of me and mom. " so mom are you ready for some Christmas tree shopping today?" I said looking at her. "Oh my goodness yes! I can not wait to pick out the perfect tree with my son." She said while eating her eggs. Whenever we finished eating, we got dressed and got inside the car. I turned on the heat cause of how cold it was outside and mom drives to a gas station to get a something to drink and a few snacks.

Kelsea POV
Once me and dad got to the Christmas tree farm, I put on a pair of gloves and got out of the truck and walked around trying to find the perfect tree. "KELSEA WAIT UP GIRL YOU ARE GOING TO FAST!" My dad said trying to run after me. I laughed and then bumped into someone which made me and them fall backwards. "OH MY GOODNESS MISS I-I IM SO SORRY HERE LET ME HELP YOU!" The person said getting up but then falling back down. "OH MY GOSH ARE YOU OK?" I say looking at them. Whenever I looked at him, he looked back at me.

Our eyes locked for like forever before we got up. " I am so sorry sir, I didn't mean to bump into you." I said looking at him dusting off the snow on his shoulder. " It's fine miss. I'm Alex by the way!" He said with a smiling face and his hand sticking out for a good hand shake. "I'm Kelsea! Nice to meet you." I said shacking his hand. Oh my gosh, I think I felt a connection with this man.

His hair was covered in snow, his hands had gloves on them, has a flannel shirt on him, duck boots on, had a scarf around his neck, and his phone. "Oh do you have a phone number?" He says looking at me. "Oh yes I do here let me give it to you." I said. As we exchanged numbers, I was smiling the whole entire time while getting his number. I MINE LIKE HE IS CUTE. "There you go! You can call me anytime you want too!" He said smiling.

Alex's POV
When I got Kelsea number, I felt a little bit better. Well after the fact that I just bumped into her on accident, fell on my butt, and I got her number too. "ALEX? ALEX?" My mom said screaming to look for me. "KELSEA KELSEA WHERE ARE YOU GIRL?" Some man said looking for Kelsea. "Oh that's my que to get with my dad." She said smiling at me. "And that was my mom so see ya around?" I said smiling.

"Yes me and you will probably head butt next time haha" she said. "Ok ok bye!" I said. Then she hugged me. That was the first time she hugged me. I blushed lightly while walking back to my mom. "Alex where have you been and why are you blushing?" My mom said looking at me with an eyebrow raised. "Oh I was looking for a tree and it's from this cold mom!" I said smiling.

After me and mom got a tree and drove home with it, I carried it inside and set it up for her. The smell of fresh trees always send a smile to my face. Later on me and mom start decorating the tree with all of these colorful ornaments, Christmas lights, and put presents underneath the tree. As mom sat down, I made us some hot coco and got some cookies on a plate. "Aww thank you Alex" she said as I gave her hot coco and put the plate of cookies in front of us. "Your welcome mom." I said sitting down and looking at the tree.

Kelseas POV
When me, mom, dad, and Nikki decorated the tree, I throw some tinsel in Nikkis face then it became a "Christmas wars". As I hid behind the couch, Nikki got some fake snow and threw it everywhere. "SNOW!" I said while standing up and getting hit by snow. "AHHA" Nikki said as she fell on her back dying laughing. After all of that happened, I made them all hot coco and we sat on in the couch in front of the tree. " I met a guy today" I said breaking the silence.

"OOO KELSEAS GOT A BOYFRIEND!" Nikki said making kissing faces. " no I don't Nikki" I said. "Hmm was it that guy you bumped into at the Christmas tree lot?" My dad said sipping the hot coco. "Well yeah it was!" I said happily. "Well he seems nice! Was he nice to you Kelsea?" My mom said looking at me. "Yeah he was I have his phone number I may call him soon!" I said with glee.

"Oh Kels you should invite him to dinner next Wednesday!" My mom said smiling. "I will and can you make some food! I'll ask him what his favorite is!" I said. "OK OK ILL GET THE STUFF READY!" She said excited. Mom, dad and Nikki are all asleep in there bed, I'm wide awake trying to have the courage to call Alex. But the phone rang and it was Alex! I answered it saying ," Hey Alex!"
