Well take your non belief and put it towards Satan, the Devil if you will, Lucius, Lucifer, etc. To me and many others they don't exist like fabled Unicorns (to some)
Now take your trust and belief in God and Jesus and split them up into groups. Their right hands are water, their left hands are earth, their head's are Air, their torso's are water and their left leg's are life and their right leg's are death.
That is Paganism. The belief of many gods. The belief that every object is a deity or has a deity watching over them.
Now look on your views. Look at Christianity and their view on Sex. It is a sin. So it's a sin to create life? Also, wouldn't we be endangered if we thought sex would send you to hell and everyone refrained from having sex?Marking yourself or having yourself marked(tattoos, piercings, etc) is a sin so what about scars? From a serious infection that could've cost you your life. What about the removal of something of your body, like a kidney. Now don't get me wrong I believe 100% that your body is a temple, but aren't all temples decorated? Either with Crosses, Tapestry, or paint, (wood is not naturally white) stain glass artwork. What is the ideal beauty for women? Is it blonde hair blue eyes, some type of shirt and skirt maybe a dress? Well Pagans wore that thousands of years ago. The ancient Greeks and Romans wore Togas no not like the College party kind, it was the fashion back then the Greeks worshiped the human body especially perfection, look at their sculptures, the men don't look that different from with the muscles. The Vikings thought of beauty, you can't really show your body shape when you're bundled up 24/7 fighting the cold, men cared if the female was good with an axe and could produce children.
To Pagan's and the Pagan culture which is the Worship of Earth and everything natural around us, Christianity brought death and scared the people. Imagine if you had to go into hiding, hiding all your crosses and rosaries and pictures of God and Jesus so you and your family will not be slaughtered. Christian's preformed a mass Genocide allthroughout Europe all the way up to the Netherlands, down to the docks of Venice, killing anyone who did not believe in God.
And if you still say Pagan's worship Satan, then that is like accusing an openly gay man of being straight.
