When Pagans were introduced to the Christian/Catholic ways, the Christians/Catholics decided not to differ far from the Pagan traditions. A lot of people today have forgotten their pagan ancestery, at least Five or more generations of your ancestors are/were Pagans.
Note these are open views, any negative(which i expect thank you to the human race) comments will be deleted you can either talk to your priest, a friend, your parents, your sibling, your therapist, even your deity.

-Yes it is right there. Right in front of you. A higher being. Greeks believed in higher beings, 12 most highest rulers are called the Olympians. God is a higher being than humanity or anything on Earth as well as Jesus Christ and the archangel so Christians are polythiestic, in a sense.
-Homosexuality. It is basically written all over the bible. Man on Man, girl on girl. It is nice to know that not only pagans are homosexual or open to homosexuality.
-Does not conform to a book. To my knowledge most Christians say they follow but do not follow the bible. I mean there is a story in the bible saying it is okay for the soldiers to Rape a man's daughter for his crime(the father allowed this) Most modern pagans will get ideas from different cultures like Native Americans or the Celts and may be a book or so about their culture but normally they do not conform to ONE specific book.
-Altars. Altars are used as religious objects, you will commonly find one at a Catholic church in front of the pews. For a Pagans you will commonly find one at their home or on their property (outdoor altars)
-Holidays. I'm only going to list one but there are a lot of others. Christmas, December 25th use to be Yule (Yuletide), Winter Solstice anywhere from December 20-23. Christmas is the day when Jesus Christ was born. In Wicca mythology/religion, The God(Sun) is born from the Goddess(moon) on the winter Solstice. (the God dies at Lughnassadh or the Harvest festival).
-Crosses. Crosses are not just from Christian culture. Celtics made crosses that looks like a plus sign with Celtic knots in the middle.
-Wine. Red wine that is used to represent Jesus' blood is also the main fluid source for Greeks. Many Pagans have Wine or Alcohol gods like Dionysus of Greek mythology or Radegast of Slavic mythology.
-Weddings. Weddings or marriage is not just a Modern thing, ancient Greeks and Celts along with the Vikings and many many other pagan cultures dating back to B.C. era has marriage, most of them were not mutual. It's a ceremony to bond two souls together for eternity, even in the afterlife.
-Afterlife. Christians believe in Heaven or Hell. (Once again mentioning them) The ancient Greeks belived in a place called Hades (named after the God/king of the Underworld Hades and no he is not a Satyr or half goat half human) It has Three sections and five rivers. The two most important rivers is the Styx(named after a nymph, another story) which the ferry man would bring the dead over if they had money to pay the ferryman(Burial ritual for Ancient greeks) and the river Lethe, the river of forgetting. The souls would drink from this river and forget everything from their past life. (It's better than it sounds) Sections is The fields of Punishment for the criminals, The middle section(dont remember name) for everybody except for the Heroes of Elysium (heaven in a sense for heroes). The Vikings belived that the Afterlife had different halls for all the gods that have passed away in battle or have been murdered like Valhall(Valhalla, Vallhal, etc).
-Godly Dwellings. Home of the god(s). God in Christianity lives in Heaven. In Ancient Greece, some Immortal creatures and some major/minor gods lived in Olympus. In Yggdrseil, or the Viking tree of life, connecting 9 worlds I believe, there was a realm called Asgaard. The realm of the Gods.
-Immortal higher beings. God is immortal, your soul is immortal. For those who don't know Immortality is living forever and never dying. In most of the pagan cultures Greeks, Celts, Romans, Egyptians, African tribes, etc deities lived forever. All cultures to my knowledge believe your soul lives forever.

A/N: If you want to know more information about this there are websites and books you can read up on. Do not use social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. and Wikipedia is not a reliable source and Percy Jackson and Harry Potter are not good sources as well. Note I am a beginner Pagan and am not an expert but I know more stuff, like shown above, than the average United States Citizen.
