Chapter VIII

Lexa's Pov

Walking about a mile or two, we reached the point that Shaw told us to get to.

"Looks like we found a water source" Bellamy informed.

My footsteps slowed down and I was left amazed by the view in front of me.

"Whoa! Now, that's a view." Bellamy expressed....in everyone's place, since we were speechless at what was in front of our eyes.

A beach that looked so surreal. Pink sky and a giant planet visible behind the clouds. The scene was something that I never imagined that I'll witness one day. Well...look at my life. I never imagined all of that will ever happen to me.

"We should camp here." He looked at me and said and I nodded.

"Looks like the suns are eclipsing." Clarke informed, looking up at the sky.

I shielded my eyes because of the brightness and looked up. It was starting to turn red from one side and soon to be completely consumed.

We placed our equipment down to rest while Murphy pulled Emori with him into the water, both laughing.

"Murphy... Murphy, wait. We haven't tested it." Bellamy warned, worried. But everything seemed going fine. All I could think was wishing that Y/N was with me right now and could see what I'm seeing right now.

She would've loved this..

The thought of her made me smiled but in the same time I could feel anxious deep inside. Like a worry. It felt like I was sensing it from her but I no I shouldn't. It's probably the mood swings she's having during her pregnancy. It happened....a lot before.

Raven's Pov

After failing to contact Clark and others on the ground, I decided to go look for Y/N. She and ALIE might come up with a plan. I don't want to make her worry but I have no other choice.

I told Jordan to keep trying and went after her.

Just as I got to Medicals, I overheard her conversation with Abby and felt my heart clench at the shocking conversation between the two.

They didn't seem to notice my presence and kept talking.

"...you'll have to tell everyone, especially Lexa." Abby advised eventually.

"I...I can't." Y/N got up from the bed, fixing her cloth and wiped her tears away.

"No one can't know. Lexa can-...Ra...Raven!" Y/N's voice trembled, noticing me overhearing them and she froze in her place, staring at me with her red, puffy eyes.

I couldn't stay and look at her after hearing all that. I need it to be not here. Not where she is. Especially knowing she was going to keep the truth from me. From us.

I exited the room and tried to get as far as I could from there. It was too painful for me to handle it right now when I'm already worrying about others.

"Raven!...Rav- Raven Stop!" Y/N shouted behind me and I could hear her heavy footsteps getting closer but I didn't slow down.

"How dare she? She can't do this to me!" I thought to myself, getting angrier with every second.

"..ahhh!" I heard her groan and couldn't hear her follow me anymore. I immediately turned back, seeing Y/N holding her belly in pain, supporting herself against the wall and my heart just wanted to stop.

"Y/N!?" I ran back to her, scared to death.

Leaning against the wall, She took a deep breaths and after few seconds Y/N seemed to have overcomed her pain.
