21.Stop 'sweetening' me!

Its time to have dinner, beam is already tired and he felt his body is warm, he regret for working as soon as his stiches were removed he could have taken rest now, his head is splitting with headache as a soon to be post graduate he can read his own reports he is anaemic and needs lots of rest he tiredly rub his forehead he felt his eyes are burning and he is feeling his body is on heat

Lam walks to him asking for dinner "...beam you have to, otherwise forth is serious in not talking to me,"

Beam tiredly shook his head "..i know p'lam, you don't have to play cards,"

Lam hides his smile yet he is worried to beam appearance "...are you having fever,"

Beam stood up tiredly his muscles are aching he felt sore all over he walked past lam shoulder and lam is following him feeling bad for whatsoever that is happening around his brother and friend

When beam is walking through the hall, he did not find any clues of David, and forth, he turned to look around only to find lam is also not their, but his nostrils are smelling some eggs and chicken to walks to the kitchen to see forth standing to kitchen in an apron and cooking stirring the contents a smiled formed on his lips feeling he is back to home after work and was welcomed by a warm scene of his husband cooking for him, he smiled unconsciously

"...oh, you're here," forth exclaimed undoing the apron he is wearing a grey tank top and a black short , beam gets rooted to his spot seeing forth smiling and sweat tricking down his forehead and the silky thick eyebrows are shining through sweat

"sit at the dining table, I will be arrange dinner in five minutes,"

Beam nod feeling tired he walks back to the table thinking forth is working hard day and night, now he is again cooking for beam and he understand the intention of forth in cooking which spreads a warm smile on his fever face, its been so long now he had someone to take care of him when he was sick, tears pooled in his eyes, this remained him of his grandmother he took out his phone, dialling her number "...hello girlfriend,"

He tried to keep his voice as cheering as possible

Hearing beam speaking to someone on phone, forth turned off the buzzing chimney machine, he don't want to eavesdrop on someone's conversation but he wants to learn about beam, lam is being tight lipped and he being worried about beam being so suspicious

"yes, I am doing good, I will send you money girlfriend, have some rest,"

"girlfriend," forth muttered under his shaky breath

After five minutes he is arranging dinner for beam on table and forth is being tipsy he sat beside beam in silence

"....thanks for the dinner, its good," he complimented and continued to eat, he no longer have any energy to protest over forth he just need to fill his tired soul, have some meds and sleep

Observing forth being stressed he asked "...any problem with work,"

Forth tiredly shook his head, lumping the food down his throat feeling bitter to eat, knowing that beam just now had a sweet good night talk with his girlfriend, his chest tightening 'do beam really don't love him?' 'he is having any person in his life?' 'should he drop?' no, he cannot, he never can! he love beam to death his heart is already beating up at the word drop no he cannot he tired shook his head with a tear dropping down

Before he realise he is crying his trembling shoulder is warmly cuddled by soft fingers he closed his eyes for a brief second and swat the hand away from he walked away from the dining table

The loud thud of the room door made beam squirm in his seat and closed his sensitive ears, feeling his heart beat raised all of a second and turned dizzy, he slowly recovered feeling the silence eloped him the candle light dinner was no longer romantic he looks to forth plate which is untouched he closed his eyes with tears beaming down, he did not understand what happen and why forth is being emotional and it sacred him and mostly hurt him when forth rejected his touch
