There's two things I hate most in this world.

One is when someone interrupts me when I'm dreaming, specifically when this one involves Hugh Grant, and two the fact that this someone is my freaking alarm. I cursed the inanimate object and started thinking if going to school was really worth it.

I jumped out of bed and opened my curtains only to see my annoying neighbor, River Kane, making out with some girl in his room.

"Jesus Christ its 7:00 am, how could someone do that this early in the morning?" I said disgusted.

I went to the bathroom to take a shower. When I finished I looked at myself in the mirror, I wasn't really pretty I'd say maybe regular, I brushed my hair and I started to look what I was going to wear but then I heard someone's whistle.

"Wow Clem, are you gonna do a show for me or what?" he said with a smirk.

"What are you talking ab-" I stopped when I realized what he said, I looked at my body and forgot I was still with a towel.

"You're such a pervert, Kane!" I closed the curtains but I heard his laugh.

After that little incident, I went downstairs to have breakfast and I sat with my parents.

"Hey Clemmie. Are you ready for your first day of senior year?" asked my dad.

"Actually I think I'm ill so I can't go for the rest of the school year" I said with a serious look on my face.

"Oh Clementine stop that" said my dad almost laughing.

"What? I'm being honest"

"I can't believe my baby's a senior" said my mom with a nostalgic tone.

"Yeah mom, me neither"

"C'mon honey you're gonna be late"

"I can't wait" I said sarcastically "Bye guys, see ya later" 

Before I started my car, I heard my phone ringing and when I saw who it was my heart skipped a beat. Holden Stratka a.k.a my best friend a.k.a one of the most popular person on school. Yeah i know, that sounds cliché.

"Wazzzzzzup!" screamed Holden when I picked up.

"Hey asshole, how you doin'?"

"Wow C, it seems you woke up so cheerful today" he said laughing.

"Well, keeping in mind that holiday is over and we have to go back to that prison, I didn't exactly wake up happy"

"C'mon Clem, it's gonna be fun!"

"Yeah, I don't think so"

"And also, you'll have the chance to ask your crush on a date" I felt his eyebrows wiggle from here.

"Well, about that...I don't know...um...well" I said trying to come up with something to say to him.

Oh yeah I forgot to tell you, I have the biggest crush on my best friend, I had it for years now but he never seems to notice and I know he doesn't feel the same way about me, he only sees me as his "little sis".

"No, no, you're gonna do it because if you don't maybe you'll regret it for the rest of your life" he said trying to convince me.

"Holden it's just a stupid crush, I'm gonna hang up now, see you at school" 

How in the hell I'm gonna tell him that I have a massive crush on him??? I said to myself that I was going to do it eventually but I'd always come up with an excuse.

I started driving while I was thinking of Holden and how he was the kindest person I know. We've met at middle school, he was new and nobody wanted to sit with him, so I did. That turned okay, right?

I know I'm sounding cliché again but Holden was to kind considering he was in the football team, they're all jerks, every single one of them. They play with girls and laugh about it, Holden was always insisting they were nice and good but I complelety disagree.

When I arrived at school I started looking for a parking spot. 

"Great" I said to myself sarcastically.

When I found a spot, someone was faster than me and parked there. The person rolled down their window and guess who it was. River Kane.

"It was my spot, you asshole" I screamed at him.

"Key word being was, you have to be faster than me Waters and that's practically imposible. In fact, want me to show you how fast can I go?" He grinned at me.
