“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me”

The invisible clouds of water that were hiding above us decided that last night would be the ideal time to empty themselves on us. So instead of waking to a sunny morning and being all warm and fuzzy we woke up to being half wet and having the tent basically sitting on us. Let’s just say that none of us were bright-eyed and bushytailed especially Zel who right now was sitting next to me with a frown on her face basically drowning the car seat she was in.

Okay guys, let’s head off to those poor packs that need our help

 I stopped driving and parked near the Woods on the outsides of town, I’m gonna be here for a while, the rest of my group decided to stop at the good old McDonalds before coming here. Might as well call up the pack to advise them.

I can hear the pitter patter of wolf feet running through the forest, still a fair way off mind you – birthing a future queen can give you enhanced senses.

Everyone is gathered around or leaning against trees, SUV’s, shiny convertibles, a motorcycle and other parts of the greenery, all waiting for the wolves to come. Lily and I at the front along with Zeke and Jack behind us.

The first of the wolves came out, the first two towered over the others, one grey and one a navy colour. The rest of the wolves followed from out of the trees, however they had to go behind them again to change. I mean I enjoy naked males as much as the next girl however I’m pretty sure to males would puke.

A fairly good looking species of man came from out of the trees.

“Welcome to the Fire Moon Pack, I’m Alpha Oliver, I would like to extend our greatest thanks for you coming to help and train us.”

He gave a charming smile, I’m pretty sure that the few unmated girls in our convoy just swooned.

“The pack that moved to our pack house was the Coleridge Pack, their pack house was burnt down and many of theirs were injured. Their Alpha will be out shortly.”

Okay see ya folks I’m out of here. You know, I actually am quite good at maths.

After this I hightailed it out of there just when I saw Lucas swagger out from behind the trees. Let’s just say that a girl can run pretty fast when confronted with problems.

I ran, drawing out my old friends from my back, my dagger Chandrika and my double swords Sephtis and Kritanta. I haven’t been able to kill any rogues lately.

I picked up quite a strong scent maybe 10 or so wolves. Easy.

I used my speed and followed the trail.

I knew Lu was just waiting to say something.
