Jade's P.O.V

The birds are still curled in their nests. The moon is still in operation. Zel is asleep with Cal sleeping with her and is going to look after her today. Everything is peaceful at 4 am except for the 70 or so wolves pacing in front of the mansion.

I ready my voice box, swallow some extra spit. 3.............2..............1....

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLL

I wait and listen to all the shouts of alarms, the rushing of feet in various places in the pack house.

There is sniggering all around me, my pack and lily's is already in their training gear – already in their wolf forms.

"Good going Jade" Zeke commented, the rest of the boys howling with laughter.

I gave him a wolfy wink getting into an attack position in front of the house. The rest of the pack follows.

The other packs pour out of the house,

Oliver's wolves looking mostly ready but Lucas's wolves are half sleep walking with drool coming out of their mouths trying to be ready to fight .....

God that's pathetic

If this were a real rouge attack they would all be dead

Lu scoffed in my head.

We all ran forward, growling before tackling unready wolves to the ground and biting them without breaking the skin, I left everyone to continue with the mock attack while changing behind the tree into some casual clothes I had hid there earlier.

I gave a long hard whistle, attracting the attention of everyone who was fighting.

"Alright boys, now that you are awake, time for training. This lesson will be in wolf form as training both our natures is vital when trying to properly fight. Okay now go for 5 laps around the border to warm up. My Beta Zeke will be leading the pack and Alpha Lily and I will stay at the back."

While I was speaking ten wolves ran into the clearing, panting but slow. Pathetic Lu repeated

I gave them a glace while personally addressing Lucas.

I expect your mutts to train when they are off shift as today was pathetic. Send them back to their posts.

They turned and left.

I sought out the Alphas, giving them a look that say I expect them to be at the front"

The wolves looked at me if I was crazy. While Zeke changed back into human

"Yes, I do know how long the border is and I expect everyone to finish otherwise it will be repeated"

Zeke and I have done runs much longer than this in wolf and human form so this run will be like jogging in the park. But because lily has not been subjected to this type of training she will be staying wolf.

Some started to follow Zeke including the two alphas. While others decided they were above me and couldn't be bothered. Lily ran around, growling and snapping at their legs until they started to move

I took up the back with Lily, shouting at the people that were lagging behind.

We jogged through the thick forest in a companionable silence.

So what did you think of the state that everyone was in his morning. I questioned

It was pathetic. I know that my pack doesn't train as hard as yours but my patrol wolves would have sounded the alarms and been the first on the scene as well as being ready to fight.

I know, even when I was here they had stricter training regimes, not that I was allowed to attend but still.

Wow she responded, shocked

I guess that when the 'oh so fabulous' Lucas took over the pack, he really let things go. I mean it's no wonder how the rouge attacked and were able to kill. There was no resistance.

I guess we have our work cut out for us. She murmured

Yeah I agreed.

Everyone kept the pace in the first two laps but then people started to fall behind, or more like one person, my dear old sister. I could recognise her tiny wolf anywhere. I yelled at her until she sped up. The remaining laps continued the same.

After the run I got people to form pairs and mock fight without drawing blood. Lucas chose to fight Oliver, They tore into each other quite viciously. I didn't intervene even though I was curious about what had led them to fight.

After breaking for lunch, I decided to play a game.

While everyone was sitting in different parts of the area outside the mansion I got to the middle and yelled.

"Okay everyone, we are going to play a game, call it hide and seek if you like."

Some wolves sniggered. I ignored them

"The idea is to run and cover your tracks while evading the enemy. The 'enemies' will be the four alphas, Lucas, Lily, Oliver and I. 3, 2, 1 GO!"

Everyone scattered. I sniffed and followed a wolf. I could feel the panic as he tried to escape me. I abandoned him in favour for someone who had brushed passed me. The following hour basically happened the same way with the Alphas chasing different wolves to give them a taste of hiding and running.

JADE, JADE they is rouges out here they are ganging up on me and one has already tore my leg open! Zeke screamed.

I sent out a communal mindlink to help fight.

I sprinted there, it wasn't too far, drawing my swords from my back. I bonded into the clearing, dismembering the rouges and spilling all of their blood. Zeke was to the side with a arm broken and his leg hanging on by a thread.

By the time I was finished, there was a crowd.

I was pissed. I was very pissed.

I was so pissed that Lucy took over, turning my eyes red and exploding into my massive wolf

I sought out Lucas.

I paced towards him, my hackles raised, my teeth on full view and my eyes burning like the fiery pits of hell.

YOU BASTARD, you have a pathetic pack that couldn't fight off a baby rouge! Because of border patrol YOU allowed rouges to get in, and to ATTACK my BETA! I have half a mind to leave you pack to fend off the rouge attacks YOURSELF I snarled. Everyone could hear this.

He just stood there, in human form not looking the least bit remorseful of sorry

This infuriated me and pissed me off so much that there was only one option left.

I attacked
