~4~ Moon Goddess

A/N Guys before you read this chapter and think of it too cliche and delete it off your library i just want to say that the magic, moon goddess, queenling part of this book is not a major part I REPEAT is not a major part, I am more focusing on the rejection.

Chapter 4 — The Moon Goddess Still in Flashback

Dream

I awake to whiteness, glowing all around me. I look down to see myself in a royal blue sash with bare feet. "I called you here for a special reason, Jade" A voice spoke out. I look around to see the shape of a woman, dressed the same as me. As a natural instinct all wolves recognised her as Mother, Moon Goddess.

"Why?" I question. "I assume that my messengers, The Blood Moon Pack, have told you of the prophecy?" I nod. "Your daughter will be the next queen of wolves. Without her rogues the balance of life will be broken. She is needed to provide leadership and balance to keep the rogues at bay." "why me?" is the question I wanted to know badly." You are perfect, you have learnt life a different way so with the power you now hold you will not let it get to your head."

"Also the weapons given to you are made out of moonstone. They are most powerful on the full moon. Your job is to release the souls from the evil and send them to me. These weapons will be the messenger. The dagger is named Chandrika and the double swords Sephtis and Kritanta. Your daughter will have a big weight on her shoulders. She will need you greatly throughout her life.

Finally you will be the carrier of the power that belongs to your daughter until she comes of age. As of now the only person you do not outrank is me. The Alpha Command will not work at all on you."

I was speechless. Trying to absorb all the information given to me.

"Thank You Mother"

"No worries my child. My only request is that you name your child Zelena — Goddess of the Moon"

I will Mother, It will be my honour to."

"Thank you my child" was the last thing I heard before seeing white again.

Dream End

As soon as my eyes opened I was hit with a way of power so big it knocked the breath out of me. Black spots danced in front of my eyes

"Are you alright Jade?"  Someone asked

"Yeah, how long was I out?" I replied, looking around.

"This time, two days" The alpha replied

I look around, the scenery has changed instead of hospital walls, and the walls are a striking aqua colour.

"Jade, Jade, JADE"

"Uh, yeah" I reply disorientated

"The pack is ready to meet you downstairs when you're ready"

"Ok thanks I'll be there in a sec" I murmur distractedly

Lu you alright?

Yeah, Yeah. It hurts jade make it stop. It hurts so much!

I'm sorry Lu. He is no longer our mate.

Yeah. I guess I can finally accept it now. Lu broke the bond with Hayden, Lucas's wolf. This meant that if you imagine a rope connected by one string that was our mate bond. Lucas would definitely feel this pain.

End of Flashback

Now

Jade's P.O.V

"Jade, Wake up Zel and bring her to the hall She should listen to this as training. It is about the packs" My Beta Zeke called out from the other side of the door. The previous Alpha, Beta and Gamma are now the elders of our pack, something that no other pack has in the world. They still hold power and I check major decisions with them. I have a new Beta Zeke and a new Gamma David - they are my best friends.

"Okay, we will be down in 15 minutes"

"Yes Alpha"

I can hear his footsteps fade away.

"Zel, Zel"

"Go away" she grumbled. For the age of a 6 year old she has the mind of a 12 year old. She was incredibly mature for her age.

"Zelena Rose Morgan, Get Up!"

She stretched and therefore fell of the bed that we shared. Once again I felt the pain coming on again. "Mum are you okay?" she questioned. Zelena knew all about mates, the prophecy the rejection, her father and how I got the pain. Let's just say that she truly hates her father, as much as I've tried to convince her differently.

"I'll be fine you get dressed".

 We both got changed and I strapped my Dagger to my hip and the double swords to my back. I never leave my room without them. These weapons have helped me release thousands of rogue souls over the years.

Okay we are coming down now I mind linked to Zeke and David.

As we descend down the spiralling staircase from the Alpha Level, The massive doorbell goes off. I rush down to the door Zel trailing behind, a smile on both our faces. But what I opened the door to shocked us and had the smile wiped off our faces and a look of horror instead. "This was what I was afraid of" Zeke whispered from behind me.
