Hearing his words made a pang of pain hit my heart. How could I forget that dreadful day? 

FLASHBACK AN YEAR AGO: 

It was Halloween and the entire college was filled with hustle and jostle due to the spooky event. Students were huddled up wearing spooky costumes but my heart and mind wasn't on the prep or the occasion rather than on that maroon haired guy smiling speaking to his friends.

"Hey Leo. Happy Halloween!!"I started off with a light conversation. "Ok." he simply replied nonchalantly. "Leo, I wanna tell you something!!" My hands started to sweat profusely. "Whatever, hurry up!!" "I like you Leo!!" I said those three words confidently.  

A heft of laughter and mocking filled the busy hallways. The once goofy hallway that didn't bother about my existence was laughing at me. "Do you really think I'll accept your proposal? What was your name again??"

I wanted to run away and hide. That's what I was going to do. But before I could a fist met Leo's face. "Taehyung!!" His face held pure anger and hatred towards the male who made fun of me right now. 

Numerous blows landed on his face.I didn't stop him, rather let him get beaten off. People were recording the scene cheering and laughing. Settling me down in his car he drove us to his house. His knuckles and veins popped out showing his anger. Getting out of the car he took me inside the house. Entering his bedroom he gently laid me down.

Why Y/N why?" Seeing the concern in his eyes made me smile. I felt numb to my feelings. Tears started flowing down my cheeks but that was the least of my concerns right now.

"I'm ugly Tae so no one likes me!!"  "Who told you that you are ugly??" He wiped the tears off my face, kissing my eyes. "You're more than pretty. I love you as you are Y/N!!" My heartbeat fastened hearing his words. "Let me show you how much I love you!!"

He held your hand looking at you with teary eyes. "Taehyung, you're sick, take care of yourself." You pulled away your hand trying to force a smile reassuring him.  

"Y/N,is everything fine??" Yoongi entered the room smiling at you. "Yes he's much better than the last time!!" You smiled at him. Taehyung watched you smile at Yoongi the same way once you did with him. His heart ached seeing you not having the same spark anymore which you held in your eyes, when you spoke to him. 

"I hope you get well soon Taehyung!!" Yoongi smiled at Taehyung, patting his shoulder, walking outside. You looked at Taehyung knowing you'll have to tell him your feelings. You'll have to let go of him. "Taehyung I wanna confess something to you." 

"What is it Y/N??" He asked curiously, fearing to lose you. He wanted to save this friendship. "I love you Tae!!"
