"I'm done na," I said, glancing happily at my finished schoolwork."Hunting ta unya?" Phoebe asked, while packing her things.
Hazel immediately came over, hugging me tightly. "You should be there too," she said, giving me those classic puppy eyes.
I rolled my eyes but nodded slightly. Hazel jumped up and down with excitement, as if she'd just won the lottery.
We hung out at the library for a bit before heading to our next class.
I went straight to my room and took a seat, scanning the room for Phoebe, but she was nowhere in sight.
Piste ka, Phoeb! Asa naman sad ka ga laroy?!
Our professor was a bit late, so our lecture dragged on for an hour and a half. He assigned us homework before letting us go.
After class, I headed out of school, grabbing pizza and three cans of soda. I made my way to the K of C Drive. It is a typical driveway but has 7 cottages and countless benches where you can also head on to enjoy the sea view. Well, pwede man pud ligoan ari.
As I arrived, I saw students from another school. The guys were already watching on me, so I quickly walked down the street to avoid their stares.
When I got to the cottage, Phoebe and Hazel were already eyeing the guys at the other table. I sat down and joined them.
"Bet n'yo?" I asked suddenly, surprising them.
"Gaga! Naa na diay ka?!" Phoebe exclaimed, clutching her chest in mock shock.
"Why aren't you on our last subject, ha? Asa naman pud ka midung?" I asked, giving her a light shove.
She just glared at me, then grinned. "Karon raman jud kay daghan man street foods diri, awa ragud oh." she giggled while pointing her finger at the other cottage.
"Perfect! Let's go to the other table!" Hazel suggested, glancing excitedly at the guys.
"Look for food, not the guys," I said, rolling my eyes as I opened a box of pizza.
"Food first!" Hazel agreed, and then did a silly dance while getting her piece of pizza.
"Food first lagi! The guys!" Phoebe stood up and did a slight twerk.
I laughed, shaking my head. "Seriously, Wala'y nakaila niya ha," I turned my attention to the chili sauce.
We chatted and laughed, munching on pizza. Phoebe's jokes were so hilarious that we almost choked on our food.
We just found out that Hazel had a crush on someone from the other cottage.
"I said don't look, crazy n'yo!" Hazel overreacted. Phoebe and I laughed on her reaction the moment we tried to glance at the other cottage.
"Picture ta ali, pang post lang sa ig," Phoebe said while scrolling on her phone.
Hazel suddenly stood up and struck a dramatic pose. "Yeah right! We haven't taken a photo in a while na," she said in a mock-serious tone. "We're going to take a picture over there." She pointed to a spot.
I glanced at the other cottage and saw guys laughing. Atay! Uwawa pud oy! Bahala jud!
"Near by the guys gyud? Maybe to another spot nalang?" I said, feeling a little bit embarrassed.
