|| Elevator || Chapter 15 ||

Henry looked almost lost a little bit then said "oh! Yeah good morning ,Y/N"
He rubbed the back of his neck and awkwardly smiled Kinda saying he was extremely zoned out.
I sighed and walked past the tall blonde boy . I walked up to the counter, kinda impressed for how clean it was especially since Henry worked there . I got behind the counter, looking around my new work space when Ray walked up to me.

Ray "Okay first day! Don't Disappoint me Y/N. It's a Tuesday so I'm sure it's not gonna be a busy Day. Although Saturday and Friday are extremely busy so I recommend being prepared for those days"

I smiled kindly and nodded
"Of course , um well. Is there anything I need to know before I start the job?"

Rays eyes slightly widened
Ray "Oh why yes! You see that elevator behind you?"

I turned around and slightly turned to the door frame to see an elevator on the other side .

"Mhm?"

Ray "Don't ever go in it."

I turned back to him in confusion .

"With all do respect why can't I go in there or take the elevator? Does it lead to another shop or something?"

Ray sighed and slightly shock his head while looking down and having his hands on both sides of his hips.

Ray "Look Henry , Jasper , Charlotte , Schwoz and me will be using it . Don't go down it , don't go near it and just Don't okay? And it's a private reason which not saying I don't trust you just it's ... very private"

Now I know this was my first job but I kinda felt left out? Why could all the employees go down the elevator but me? And what made the elevator so Special and important it's literally just a damn elevator.

"Um...Yeah.. I'll keep my distance from it sir"

Ray "good , good . I wish you the best today , Y/N"

Ray walked off to the elevator only to get in it and the doors to close . I was looking at the desk clearly trying to figure out why ? I was definitely gonna have to pay attention to everyone as the work days went by.

Henry walked up to the counter and leaned his arms on it, ruining my zone out moment. I leaned back to stand up straight and I looked at him , still having a complete confused expression on my face.

"Why can't I go down there? You've known me for a few months, same with Charlotte and Jasper.."

Henry sighed

Henry "look you gotta promise to not go in , down, up or anywhere near the elevator. Ray would kill me , Charlotte, you, Jasper and Schwoz , got that?"

I looked down but then up at him

Henry "promise?"

"Promise."

Henry smiled .

Henry "Great Y/N , I better get to work . Talk to you later"

Henry walked off into the store while I sat at the check out and cashier area.

I slowly released my crossed fingers.

"They are hiding something. Something bad. I'm going in the elevator one day."
