[hi, there will be a delay in uploads since i'm suffering from a writer's block, i wrote three chapters at once and now i feel completely unmotivated and have run out of ideas. give me a week or a few days, and i'll be back with more chapters.]
a girl, with dark brown curly hair and olive skin, glided down an empty hallway. she turned a corner and saw her lover being tortured by his parents. he was pale, as if sick, and had messy brown curls, and dark brown eyes. his parents were killing him slowly but surely.
onlookers laughed and mimicked the poor boy. he was just a child, no older than fifteen.
the girl could not resist, she ran in to her lover's aid. she hollered, and leapt in front of him and his mother.
a flash of green light.
the girl lay on the ground, staring lifeless at the ceiling with paintings on.
the lover sacrificed themselves for their lover.
[this isn't real, don't worry. it's just a prediction...]
luna, cho, willow and blaire all sat in the great hall. they were having dinner, roast dinner to be precise.
"i think dumbledore has an announcement." cho said.
"mm. you reckon?" willow doubted."attention! as you all know, summer holidays start tomorrow. therefore, today is your last day! so have fun today, on your free day!" dumbledore beamed.
"well that settles it. i'm doomed. i don't want to-"
"you can stay here. or come to mine."
"that's so kind of you, but i'm better off at home. besides, i just isolate myself in the west tower with my little brother, protecting him."
"shit.." cho scrunched up her face."don't worry about me. some people have it worse. way worse.." an image of mattheo being tortured flashed across her face making her heart burn.
"anyway," blaire continued. "you know what? willow, can i stay with you?"
"i live alone with my grandma, are you crazy?"
"that sounds nice." blaire smiled.
"okay, i mean, if you want."a lingering haze of steam and fuel lingered in the station. chaos emerged, with witches and wizards running around frantically looking for their children.
the gleaming scarlett hogwart's express sat itself, bathing in all the attention.children ran into the train, some ran out, parents passed pets through windows.
"write to me, all of you, have a good summer!" blaire smiled, as she hopped on the train and into a random carriage.
luna joined her, so did neville and.. blaise zabini?"hello, zabini."
"good evening, lestrange."
"now why are you in this carriage, hm? mattheo sick of you already?"
"he's not sick of you."
blaire cocked her head.
"i expect you'll leave."
"nope. i'm staying put here."
"why are you here?"
"i need to warn you. and tell you some things."
"okay, begin then."
"one- mattheo is in danger. you know how he came back to school all bruised and-" blaise paused and looked out of the window, checking the corridor for people listening. he then glanced at neville, clutching his plant for dear life and talking to himself, and luna, reading the quibbler. "-barely alive? so that'll continue happening. it's likely he'll die in this summer.""what?" blaire exclaimed, making neville jump. blaise leaned back and stared at her. "i mean, i will get that too, but he can't! what do i do?"
"friday. today's thursday, right? we'll go, with draco and pansy-" blaise and blaire both cringed. "-and rescue him. none of us have safe homes, however, not even you. i'll send him off to my grandma's cottage. alright?"
"alright. and the second thing?"
"mattheo told me to tell you something. he, even though we just arranged it, told you to not go looking for him. you will be tortured to death. so, he begged me to tell you not to agree with me, but you have. so that's that."
"i will come tomorrow." blaire nodded.
"okay. settled, have a good journey." blaise grinned, getting up and leaving the compartment.
a horn sounded, and the train began to move.*
"blaire?" luna snapped her fingers in front of blaire's face. blaire's eyes opened stubbornly.
"good-"
"we're in london." luna smiled, with neville being yanked out by his grandmother.
"oh, fuck. i mean, thanks." blaire fake smiled.blaire got out of the train, and saw that familiar face. that little house-elf, magnolia.
"madam lestrange! a pleasure. how was your term?"
"it was," blaire paused and remembered almost dying countless times. "interesting."
