Making your way across the path, you finally reach the village. "What?..." you blurted out. Something didn't look right at all. The village looked... abandoned? You began walking slowly but carefully into the village, looking behind you every few minutes.

An explosion of an overwhelming scent hit you. You felt incredibly sick. Trying to find the source of the potent smell, you discover many dead animals laying in a pile. "Ewww, why are they all dead? Who piled them up?" You curiously whispered. Blinking a few times then shutting your eyes, you open them again and continue forwards. You were beginning to get a headache but you didn't pay attention to it. You were only paying attention to your surroundings.

A bit later on, your headache began to get worse and you felt the need to sit down. But where would you sit?. You found a run down house and entered it. "Hello?" You called, quite loudly. Looks like they're out. '...Or dead' you thought to yourself. But just to your surprise, the sofa was ripped to shreds, the cabinets and tables and chairs were completely destroyed and there was nothing left except a gun just laying on the floor. You pick it up and put it in your pocket. "Holy sh-" you were about to say until a loud roar came from outside. You ran towards the broken window and peered out. A bear, a wolf? No. A monster.

Crawling on all fours, hair messed and incredibly dirty and teeth like a ravenous animal. It wore ripped clothing and no shoes. You knelt down hiding behind the destroyed cabinet, praying for the love of god it didn't see or smell you. You covered your mouth trying not to scream. You shut your eyes trying to hold back tears just to open them immediately after. You heard nothing for a few minutes and so assumed it was gone. Slowly getting up and looking out the window again, it was nowhere to be seen. You took a great big sigh of relief and headed back towards the door.

You peeked your head around the corner, looking back and forth but the monster was gone. Hesitantly stepping out, the exact same roar could be heard a few houses away but you didn't stop. You ran and ran away but you could hear something else following behind you. Still, you ran and didn't stop for anything.
