(Lila is Elena's best friend who is pregnant with Luca, Leo's brother. For anyone who forgot!)

Fun fact-

A sperm takes one hour to swim seven inches.

So technically we're not fast swimmers we're slow swimmers.

Her face is pressed against my arm as I carry her towards the door to the warehouse. I pull out the walkie-talkie and talk into it again. "I found her. Let's go"

~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Help! Help me!" I shout at the top of my lungs.
Blood spreading onto my white shirt. "HELP!" I shout again in hopes somebody hears me. People begin to stare at me, thinking I'm crazy.
The doctors and nurses I've seen a million times when coming here, run round the corner with a stretcher and I carefully place her limp body on top. "Be careful she's pregnant." They look up at me in utter shock at the fact that she's pregnant.
I know..
"Get her to room 63" doctor jones shouts. They all nod frantically and wheel her body away.
"Fuck!" I shout, connecting my first with the closest wall towards me. The plaster crumbles from the impact and falls to the floor.
I grip my hair at the roots pulling tightly. This should have never happened. I shouldn't have left her in the house on her own that day.
A doctor approaches me and starts to look at my bullet wound in my left shoulder. She gets some bandages and antiseptic wipes and starts to clean it up. I hiss in pain as she's cleaning around it. "Sorry." She says trying to avoid hurting me as much as possible.
After about two minutes of her cleaning it up she finishes and I thank her for doing so. I sit in silence anxiously bouncing my leg waiting for anyone to tell me she's alright.
10 minutes later...
I've still not heard anything from the doctor and it's starting to make me wonder if she will make it. "Leo." I was snapped out of the thought when doctor jones shouted my name. Sitting up out of my chair I made my way towards room 63 where Elena was.
When I walk in, i see tubes surrounding her bed. Fuck. I approached where she was laying and picked up her hand. I placed a light kiss to her red knuckles and sit in the chair opposite her bed still holding her frail hand. My hands always engulfed hers but this feeling was different. It was like her body was there but not her.
"As you know she's very malnourished and dehydrated. Her vitals seem to be ok but i would keep an eye on them for now. All her body needs to do is rest, that's the best thing for her right now. She should wake up in an hour maybe 2 and a nurse will come and check on her every 20 minutes." Doctor jones said.
"When she regains consciousness we can begin putting the nutrients she lost back into her body. Hopefully we will be able to check and see how baby is doing too. Don't worry mr Hernandez she's in good care" with that he left the room.
I hate seeing her her like this, so vulnerable and weak. I hope her and the baby survive, I wouldn't know how to live without her if she died. She's my world, the only reason I am living right now is because of her.
