People "talking"

Pokemon 'talking'

I own nothing)

It was a busy day for Red. He just finished his work at the Pokemon tutorial centre where he tutors youngsters who wish to be Pokemon trainers.

He was walking back to his apartment with his pikachu when he noticed his boyfriend up ahead. He looked like he was waiting for him with his bulbasaur. Pikachu ran ahead to greet him.

Pokemon pov:

Pikachu chirped, 'Heya Bulb! Were you guys waiting for us?'

Bulbasaur grinned, 'Yeah! It was a slow day at the gym. I wasn't even called to fight so here I am instead.'

Bulbasaur shrugged and yes it was a slow day for him. It was not exactly common for beginner trainers to be powerful as his team. The bulb Pokemon sometimes wonders if they were the ones who were strange. He was stronger than a Venasaur, a fully evolved Venasaur, sometimes he thinks his life is a dream.

Pikachu, 'Guess what today there were two kids that kept Red busy.'

Bulbasaur, 'Really? Tell me about it'

Pokemon pov end

Pikachu and bulbasaur proceeded to talk to each other and went ahead a bit to give some space for their trainers. They didn't want to taint their eyes like last time. Nope! Pikachu told Bulbasaur all about how he had to help Red keep the kids in line while laughing at his trainer's state.

Red, -Green? Guess he's done at the gym for the day-

Green, "Red! You are here. Let's walk home together."

Red smiled and leaned in to kiss him but stopped before he could. Green who was expecting a kiss opened his eyes to see Red was flustered at almost kissing him in public. Red was really cute and adorable that way. He was not embarrassed to show they were together (they always held hands while shopping, going on walks, dates etc) but a simple kiss could get him becoming shy all of a sudden. It was one of his more adorable ticks that Green loved. Green held Red and lifted his chin up.

Green murmured, "Red, relax okay. No one's watching. I promise."

Red murmured back, "That's not the problem. It's just embarrassing and sappy." Red was turning red.

(A. N.: Yes, I went there ≧ω≦)

Green smiled and gave him a soft peck on his lips. He looked at Red who was looking back at him. The two were flushed with a light pink blush on their cheeks. They stared at each other before bursting out laughing happy to just be together.

Green held his arm, "Let's head back home and we can cuddle and watch a movie. Maybe a bit more after that if you are up to it."

Red looped their arms together, "I would love that."

They walked home talking about their days. Red told him about a kid called Ash who was really enthusiastic about becoming a Pokemon Master. Two kids May and her younger brother Max who wanted to be Pokemon choreographer and gym leader respectively. Also about Green's youngest cousin Gary who is torn between being a trainer or a gym leader like his cousin or a researcher like his grandpa. Max is the youngest while Gary is the oldest in his group.

Green laughed at that, he always found his baby cousin, Gary adorable and his rivalry with Ash was cute and hilarious. Especially when he was crushing on him big time. He told Red about the four gym battles he had today and how just one girl was able to get a badge. Although this was the girl's fifth try in battling him. And it's only due to having just four challengers he was able to join Red on the road today.

All in all, it was a very normal day for them. And to make it better they had a dinner date planned. Green was making his special sweet and sour curry with fluffy rice while Red was preparing mochi for dessert. Green adored the little mochi balls Red made in the shape of Pokemon. Sometimes during special days like Valentines he would make plates of mochi and share it with the kids in school.

It was obvious Red was the favourite teacher, he even remembered who loved which flavor. The girls basically treated him as their second Dad while the boys looked up to him as an inspiration. Red may not be a Champion anymore but he still taught them about many things and shared tips about how to care for their Pokemon. Green loved that about Red and sometimes he would let his Pokemon appear at school as an excuse to give them a break from the Gym.

Green, "Dinners ready."

Red, "The mochi too. By the time we finish dinner they will be set."

Green, "Nice, let me call the Pokemon for dinner."

All the Pokemon rushed in, on hearing Green's call for them to dinner. Whenever Green and Red cooked together, they would make a variety of poke food for them too. From spicy to sweet to savory to sour and even a mix of flavors which the Pokemon adored. It was a peaceful dinner for all of them, no calls between dinner, no emergency rings or meetings. After dinner they cleaned up together before the Pokemon moved to their sleeping areas around their shared housing.

Green and Red in the mean time cuddled together watching the latest movie that was on television. It was about the Hero Sir Aaron and his loyal Lucario, aura was a fascinating subject to many researchers. But since there were no known aura users, not much was known about it. Green swore up and down Riley a young trainer with a Riolu is an Aura user but he was not sure. Either way both of them left their contact with him, if he needed them, they would help.

Red, "What's on your mind?"

Green, "The movie reminded me of that one kid, Riley."

Red, "That cute one who could understand Pokemon?"

Green, "Yeah, I wonder how he is doing."

Red kissed his cheek, "Don't worry too much. I send him care packages every six months. Considering I receive the delivered email and the yearly letter from him."

Green, "You are the best Red."

(Welllllllllll
This turned into a slice of life more than a simple lovey dovey one shot.

And yeah I'll introduce palletshipping soon. Gary will be Green's cousin. Like I know in some fics Red and Green are shown as their mysterious parents. But come on they aren't that old, maybe Red and Green are older than Gary and Ash by a few years but not old enough to be their parents

Well that's it,

Hope you enjoyed the story!)
