It has been a year now since I left her. Who would have thought that I've done more than I could in the past few months. Most of the government has fallen and is waiting for the US to do something about it. I was assigned to go back to my hometown and stir things up there. I was nervous as to why I was told to do this. My hands were sweating just thinking about all of this. An uneasy feeling went down my spine just thinking what I need to do but I set those feelings aside since I would be reunited back with my love. My one and only. How I miss feeling her hands on mine, her vanilla like scent, her teasing and oh her smile. That warm smile of hers. I couldn't wait for the day to come. I finally reach home. The town I remember all too well. How it never changes surprises me. She told me that she arrived at my hometown since yesterday so I told her to meet me and my parents at this one café nearby as I had other matters to attend. I was at the building near the café that was abandoned. I was given the instructions to place some explosions around it and it'll only affect that building. I made sure that the blast range won't affect us in the other building once I'm in there. Looking at everything one last time before I head out just in case, I grab my leather jacket and head towards the café.

I calmed myself before entering. Don't make any stupid gestures, walk normally and breath. I know I haven't met them in so long but don't act like you don't know them or anything. One last breath and I stepped into the café. I have been a regular at this café before so I knew what to order. I saw them in corner and I waved. No response. Harsh but I think they're trying to swallow the reality of me being here, maybe. I took the tray of food that I ordered and head towards the table. As soon as I placed the tray on the table, *thump* she hugged me as tight as she could and I turned to her and hugged her back. Getting to feel her body on mine made me shed a tear and so did she. She was crying with tears of joy meeting me like I was dead for a while. I then proceeded to hug my parents and we sat down for hours talking. They didn't know about her and the fact that they were talking like they knew each other for a long time made me happy.

Not long after that, I received a text to meet someone in the restroom and not to bring my phone. I knew what was coming so I tried to make this fast. I heard another text coming in but ignored and went straight in. Jill was there. He told me that he was tired of everything, he wanted to end this as soon as possible. I didn't understand what he meant by that. He had sad look in his eyes as if he was sad that he would be losing someone. "I did tell you that no harm would be done to her but everyone. It's time we went our separate ways. You've done a good job and you've raised a good army by my side but... You're still under the government. I can't have you ruining my plan. Take this button. You understand what's going to happen, right?" and just like that he walked out and left me speechless. I was a fool to obey what I was told. I was played. All this time I thought to myself that if I were to follow this guy, my friend, nothing would happen. This button, the button which will detonate the bombs. Not just the ones I've planted but the rest that have been planted by others in other states. God for the first time being in this position, I didn't know what to do.
"What's the matter, dear? Did the toilet business didn't go so well?" she asked me while wanting to ease up the atmosphere. I sat there silently and after a few seconds, the only words that came out of my mouth was, "I'm sorry" As soon as I pressed the button, I tossed my jacket onto her and placed myself in front of her to shield her from anything. *BOOM* just like that the explosion did damage to all the building surrounding it and I assume that every other place was the same. Chaos. I didn't know who else survived but she was. The explosion didn't hit her nor any debris did. I saw her face, her shocked face as to what happened. "Don't worry, don't cry... Everything will be alright" I told her with my last breath as I took her hand in mine.
