Trigger Warnings: murder, implied sexual content

When Jin advised Jungkook to date one of his clients- Laurel Goodman- he couldn't help but wrinkle his nose in disgust. She wasn't hideous, but she certainly wasn't his type.

Not that he had a type, of course. He always finds himself comparing every potential love interest of his to anime girls, and they always seem bleak in comparison.

But he always heeds Jin's advice. His intuition had saved them on multiple occasions, and when you walked into his store that fated evening, he was glad he heeded Jin's advice.

He couldn't identify the strong feelings he had for you- were they attraction? Hunger? He found you lovely, watching from a distance as the neon lights in the store grazed your darker skin tone, and made your curly black hair look dyed.

The more he observed you, the more agitated he felt- did he like you? Or want to drink your blood?

But then you almost dropped your phone, and he was there in time to pick it up. He could hear your heart beating loudly in the quiet store, and he smirked knowing he swayed you so strongly.

When he went over to Laurel's later that day, as soon as he entered your apartment building, he was hit with a familiar scent; one that he recognized too quickly; yours.

He promptly headed up the stairs, his platformed boots creating loud thuds that echoed in the building. It clicked into his head why Jin had asked him to start seeing Laurel- the two of you were neighbors!

As he reached the top of the stairs, he felt his heart sink- he could hear the loud beating of your heart, alongside Laila's. The two of you were wearing matching terrified expressions, and it took a second for Jungkook to realize how the situation looked.

A bit sad, he knocks on Laurel's door, giving you one last smile before he disappeared inside.

As Laurel's lips met his eagerly, Jungkook froze, thinking about what he should do next. You were right next door, he knew exactly where you lived- it was so easy now. To make you his. To taste you, in multiple ways.

Laurel, annoyed by his lack of response, pushed him down onto the sofa. She then climbed on top of him, kissing his neck, but Jungkook stayed still the entire time as several thoughts raced through his head.

"What's wrong?" she finally asks, leaving his lap dejectedly.

Jungkook sighs, knowing he wouldn't be able to tell her the full truth. As far as Laurel was concerned, he was the hot and skilled tattoo artist who was even more skilled in bed.

"I don't think I'll be able to do this anymore. I don't want to see you again," he says, his gentle voice contrasting his harsh words.

He wasn't very good at this kind of thing- he had never had to end a romantic relationship before, let alone a sexual one. He hoped his nervousness wasn't too obviously laced into his voice.

Laurel, who had already grown quite attached to the vampire, reacted quite aggressively. After all, he'd been there to support her when her mother died, and agreed to accompany her to her sister's graduation next month. The Jungkook who sat next to her now was a far cry from the one she knew.

"You asshole!" she yelled, throwing a punch at his chest.

Her fist cracked on impact, and she jumped back and yelped in pain. Punching Jungkook had been like punching a concrete wall, and she had broken every bone in her hand. Blood started pooling below her, and Jungkook sighed.

"I wanted to wait a more appropriate time, but I guess I'll have to kill you now," he said sadly.

Laurel's eyes widened, and she quickly got up and ran for the door. Jungkook was already there, leaning against the door with a sad look on his face.
