As there was a continuous flow of guests, Sachin was rooted at one place, receiving guests. Since he was bored all alone and cannot move from there, he asked Nakul to give him company. But, Nakul couldn't, as he was worried about the kids. He knew he was being unreasonable and he is the outsider compared to others, who are part of their family! But he couldn't control his protective instincts over them! He knew Meera alone couldn't be with them all the time. So he was always around the kids, monitoring them. At one point, when he couldn't track Jessi, he told Sachin that he needs to take care of the kids and left in search of her!

At that moment, Sachin saw Nakul's unfiltered emotions and he realized that his suspicions were right! But, he didn't know whether to feel delighted or worried.

After finding Jessi with Keerthi, he warned her not to go anywhere without Keerthi, Meera, or himself, to which she nodded. Nakul didn't trust anyone else to stand for her! Not even Meera's parents. He ignored the glare he got from Keerthi as he preferred to be a fool in front of others than compromising his kids' safety! He heard how others were talking about Meera and kids, and he didn't want them to encounter it at any cost! After that, he made sure that Jaiky, Jaidy, and Jeff were always under his radar! He knew that Jo was with Meera.

While, another story was brewing in the crowd, seeing the closeness between Nakul and the kids, which was keenly observed by the hawk-eyes!

Even if the responses were mixed, Meera was happy to be here with her family. She was hurt hearing the gossips; not because of the words they spoke, but due to their lack of trust in her!

Loved ones trust each other and aren't family members supposed to love and care for each other? After all, that was what she had been taught from her childhood!

However, Meera chose to see the bright side. She can easily identify the people who care for her and not! And it is them, her loved ones, who worry her the most, as they are the most hurt ones due to this gossips. So, she was being extra careful to be next to them, especially her mother and her kids, which was pretty difficult, being at a crowded place and with both the parties roaming here and there!

Meera didn't trust anyone with her kids, especially today, not even with her parents! But when she saw Nakul with the kids, she wasn't worried to leave them with him. She had seen him taking care of the kids for the past eight days and was sure that he will not let anyone hurt them!

Apart from the gossiping, everything was going normal until Sarada made a scene in the kitchen! Meera was on her way to the kitchen, in search of Jaidy, as Nakul had informed her that he left his side to drink water. When Meera reached the kitchen, what she saw was a panicked Jaidy with Kavitha, and Sarada shouting at him.

Meera: "What happened dear?" she asked putting a hand on Jaidy's shoulder comforting him.

He hugged her and started crying. Even Kavitha was crying.

By now, a crowd was forming around them. When Salini came next to Kavitha, she too hugged her and started crying.

Sarada: "What happened? If I haven't reached on time, God knows what would have happened! This scoundrel..."

Meera: "Don't!!!! Don't you dare use such words against my son!" Meera's fierce glare made Sarada speechless for a moment. Everybody was shocked to see this face of Meera!

Sarada, after clearing her throat, continued "He misbehaved with my child! How do you expect me to behave?"

Meera: "Jaidy, what happened?" Jaidy was so shocked that he couldn't form the words and tightened the hug.

Meera: "JAIDEN! Tell me what happened? What is the truth dear? Don't be afraid. I'm here my child" She kissed his forehead, caressing his hair. He slowly lifted his head, hiccuping.

Jaidy: "Mumma I was giving the glass back to Kavitha after drinking water, granny came by scolding and hit my arm." He said, holding his head down, wiping his tears. Meera lifted his chin and made him look straight into her eyes.

Meera: "Say Sorry..." She said inspecting his face. A smirk was forming on Sarada's face, which turned into a scowl when Meera looked at her and repeated "Say sorry to my kid right now for hitting him!"
