"So vervain is toxic to vampires and helps to stop them from using compulsion on people," said Damona, holding a pale-purple flower in her hand while sitting across from Issac. For the past hour, they had been going over herbs as seen by the books scattered on the table.

"You're correct," replied Issac with a smile as he placed the book that he was reading down on an empty space on the table. "Sage is one of the most common herbs in witchcraft and is used for cleansing and purification." Issac picked up a piece of sage then placed it back down.

"What else is there to know?" Asked Damona with eagerness, she wanted to learn more about the supernatural and herself. This was the fourth visit to the Maxwell mansion and Damona had no intentions of stopping. She had discovered that Issac was something called a Siphoner, a witch born without the ability to generate their own magic but they could steal and use magic from other sources. It was called Siphon.

To Damona disbelief and interest, she was an untapped Siphoner, according to Issac. The black haired woman couldn't resist the temptation to learn magic from Issac, even if she was called an abomination of nature by the witch community. If she could remember correctly Damon was supposed to be a vampire in the future, so if she went through that route would Damona be called a double abomination? Because she went from being a siphoner to vampire.

"There are so many things to learn in the supernatural community, I doubt you will ever be bored my Raven," told Issac with a smile as he went to kiss a strand of her black hair. Damona chuckled. "Does that work on every woman that you try it on?" Questioned Damona with a smirk.

Issac pulled away from her and sat back down. "How would I know you are the first I have tried it on in Mystic Falls?" He innocently replied. Damona rolled her eyes at him as she slammed the book shut. "And the other woman that are not in Mystic Falls? Were they not disappointed that you had to leave them."

Damona wasn't really bothered at their innocent flirting. It was fun at times, making other men and woman jealous at their close relationship. There was a certain fondness between them but they didn't see each other in a romantic sense. "Of course, many ladies cried when they heard that I would be leaving them."

"How sad."

"Truly. To not be around my charming presence anymore," laughed Issac as Damona placed a hand on her face.

"So Dear, how is our wedding preparations coming along?" A marriage for benefit as secretly agreed between themselves. And besides she would rather be married to her best friend than a old man.

"Father was pleased at my intentions to marry you, and Silvia- I mean mother was happy to plan the wedding," explained Issac. Silvia was his fathers second with whom he married after Issac's mother passed away. "In less than two weeks you'll be Mrs Damona Maxwell."

"Ah, yes. No expense shall be spared on this wedding," said Damona in a similar voice to Silvia's. Issac chuckled as he ran a hand through his dark hair. "Her pitch is a bit higher than that. Now I'm sure that you're bored with all the reading so why don't we practice using some real magic?"

Damona hummed in agreement. Reading was interesting but the black haired woman would be lying that she didn't want to play around with some real magic again. Issac allowed Damona to siphon some magic from him, allowing her to set alight a set of candles on the table.

"This is so amazing," commented Damona with amazement, watching the lit candles. "I wonder what else I could do. This makes me want to write a diary of idea's."

"Do it," said Issac, breaking Damona from her musing. "I forgot that you were here." Issac looked taken aback for a second before returning to his usual playful self. "Am I that forgettable?"

Damona smirked as her face turned to confusion. "Who are you again?" Issac was about to answer her when they heard a knock on the door. "Come in," told Damona, letting the person on the other side come in.

"Good evening sister, Issac," said Stefan with a smile as he stepped closer to the two. "Father sent me to escort you home."

"I see..." Damona kissed Issac's check before standing up and walking over to Stefan. "Don't think about me to much."

"Only in your dreams my fair lady," chuckled Issac. "Have a safe trip."

Damona looked out at the night sky from the carriage window, Stefan sat across from her attempting to start a conversation. "How are you feeling about being married soon?" Asked Stefan.

"Nervous but at least I know Issac will not be like father," replied Damona. She would make sure that Issac didn't become like father. "I still have two weeks of being a free woman."

"Then you won't be anymore. Still you'll always be my older sister even when you are away and start your own family."

"Familia Ante Omni," said Damona referring to the Salvatore's family slogan.

"Family over all," added Stefan translating the family motto into English. The two enjoyed the motto despite their father making absolute mockery of it.

"Indeed little brother. Indeed." The two weeks would go by in a blues and Damona would soon be married to Issac, leaving the Salvatore manor to live with her new husband. All while continuing to learn magic just because she was married didn't mean that she was going to stop learning.
