Chapter 4: two perfect moments ruined

It was Monday morning, you and Peter slept in your own bedrooms and your dad came into your room waking you up.
"Dad, it's 6:30 a.m why are you waking me up??"
"Oh, I must have forgotten to tell you, you are starting school today! Don't tell anyone about the avengers or who your father is, if anyone asks your last name is Smith. Understand?"
"Ughhh, fine." You say as you roll out of bed.
You take a shower in your bathroom and get changed then go downstairs to see Peter eating toast waiting for you.
"It took you long enough!" Peter said laughing.
"Hey, you don't just wake up looking this beautiful."
You and Peter then get in the car with Happy and head to school. Once you are there Peter shows you where all of your classes are, as you have all of the same classes. In between classes when you and Peter are putting stuff away in your lockers which are right next to each other you hear an unfamiliar voice, however it didn't seem to be unfamiliar to Peter considering he rolled his eyes and groaned.
"Hey Penis Parker!"
"What do you want Flash?" Peter says, annoyed.
"Who's the chick with you?"He asked
"She's my friend y/n"
Even though you knew you and Peter were not dating it still hurt to hear the word friend. Before you could say anything to Flash the bell rang so you and Peter left to go to class.
"Who was that?" You ask Peter once you're away from Flash
"Flash, he is this really annoying guy who never leaves me alone."
"Oh, why don't you do anything about it?"
"I try to stay out of trouble, that's why I got kicked out of my last school. I will never take Mr. Stark's advice on dealing with people like him ever again."
You let out a little giggle then just go to all your other classes as normal. After school you and Peter decide to head to a deli shop to get a sandwich before going back to the tower.
"Hey kiddos, how was school?" Your dad asks when you walk through the door.
"It was good, pretty boring though." You say
"Yeah, I should just have Mr. Stark homeschool me considering I already know everything their teaching." Peter said while taking off his shoes.
"But then I would be all alone Spider-Boy" You say
"And that is the one reason why i am not convincing Mr. Stark to homeschool me this very second." He says smiling.
"Do you two have any homework tonight?" Your dad asks.
"Nope" You both say completely in sync.
"Woah" You both then say again in sync.
"Okay go upstairs kids you're starting to freak me out."Your dad says laughing.
You and Peter go upstairs and sit on your bed.
"So, what do you want to do now?" You ask.
"I have an idea!" Peter says as he jumps up from your bed with a huge smile on his face. "Meet me on the roof in two Minutes." He says running out the room.
You are very confused but you do it anyways. Once you get up there you see him sitting on the edge of the roof in his Spider-Man suit.
"What is going on you ask?"
Peter stands up from the edge and walks up to you then grabs you waist.
"Do you trust me?" He asks.
"Yes" You say not having time to think before he jumps off the roof and swings you through the city. It was dark out and you could just see the lights of buildings. You swing around almost the whole city before he swings back to the roof. Peter and you get onto the roof and he pulls his mask off. You both just stood there staring into each other's eyes. It was like a force was pulling you together. Peter looked into your eyes then down at your lips, then back at your eyes. That's when the door opened and you both immediately jumped back from each other.
"Peter,we have a mission,suit up" Tony says, he then looks at you and sees you in your suit.
"Oh, you're already in your suit, I'm not gonna ask why because I would prefer not to know."He says
Peter then leaves with all the other avengers for the mission and you go to your room. You lay in your bed and just can't stop thinking about what happened. What would've happened if Tony hadn't walked in on us? Would we have kissed? So many thoughts just kept flowing through your head, more than you could handle. Meanwhile Peter was swinging through a building pulling people out of an elevator shaft. 2 hours later everyone was back and exhausted. You wanted to talk to Peter about how you felt about him but you decided not to because he was tired. After hours of staring at your ceiling you still couldn't fall asleep, that's when you heard a knock at your door. You get out of bed and to your surprise it was Peter in a pair of pajama shorts and no shirt.
"Hey Peter what's up?" You ask
"I umm, I couldn't sleep and umm I can't stop thinking about the moment we had on the roof."
"Me neither Peter I actually wanted to let you know that I th-" You got cut off by Sam knocking on the door.
"What are you guys doing, it's 3:00 am! You two are so loud." Sam whines.
"U-uhh sorry Sam we just uhh couldn't sleep." You say.
"Just go to bed!" You hear Bucky yell from across the hall. You and Peter can't help but giggle before Peter went back to his room, Sam left, and you went back to bed. After another long hour of staring at your ceiling caught in your thoughts you finally drifted to sleep.
