"Taehyung, you know I love you and care for you, don't you?" the blonde male asks of his friend, who simply nods with furrowed brows. "I had a small discussion with Yoongi about you and your health," he admits nervously, and Taehyung feels betrayed for a brief moment. "I agreed with him that you should see a therapist. That would be good for you."
"Wait, what?" Taehyung almost yells as he is taken aback by what his best friend has said.
"It's no longer acceptable. It completely ruins you and your health. You skip meals, don't get enough sleep, and still cry almost every day because of him, and you just... can't seem to move on " he explains anxiously in an attempt to convince his soulmate.
"Do you really think I need to see a therapist?" Tae questions quietly as he takes a seat next to Jimin on the couch. Jimin quickly approaches Taehyung and pulls him into his embrace for a hearty hug.
"Tae, I only want the best for you. And I believe that would be the wisest option for you. It's easier to express your feelings to a stranger than to me. I understand your concerns, but an hour wouldn't hurt. You don't have to go there after the first occasion if you don't like it or if it makes you uncomfortable, I swear. Okay?" Jimin explains while tracing little circles on Taehyung's back.
As he pulls away from the hug, the younger of the two lets out a heavy sigh. Taehyung appears to be unaffected by his friend's suggestion. To be honest, he had been considering it for a while.
He knows he can't continue on like this for much longer because it's been five years. Jungkook has most likely forgotten about him and all the memories they experienced while in love. Probably he already has a wife, children, even dogs, and a happy family since he made his parents proud by not being gay.
Taehyung recognizes that the moment has come to move on, yet he is afraid to do so. He despises this feeling because he wants to hate Jungkook, but he is hopelessly in love with him. He wants to be upset yet he is not able to. He's well aware that the older boy's heart had also broken on that fateful day. He has no idea how to forget about Jungkook and all the memories, but he knows it's time to face the issues.
"All right, I'll see a therapist," he adds quietly, and Jimin smiles.
"We've already found one. He's about our age and really skilled at what he does! He loves helping people especially when they are dealing with issues like these" the blonde says this while caressing his friend on the cheek.
"Thank you, Jimin." he smiles at his friend and replies, "I'm going to get some tea for us. Will you stay the night?" as he walks to the kitchen to prepare those hot drinks for them, he asks.
"I'm staying,"
